The origins of spetsnaz are to be found in the revolutionary terrorism of the nineteenth century, when numerous groups of young people were ready to commit murder, or possibly suicide, in the cause of creating a society in which everything would be divided equally between everybody.
The seizure of power by the Bolsheviks demonstrated, primarily to
the revolutionaries themselves, that it was possible to neutralise
a vast country and then to bring it under control simply and
quickly. What was needed were 'groups of specially selected young
men' capable of putting out of action the government, the postal
services, the telegraph and telephone, and the railway terminals
and bridges in the capital.
In 1923 [Spetnaz leader] Unshlikht was given the task of organising the detachments which were to carry out the armed German uprising and coup d'état, recruiting them and providing them with weapons. He also had the job of organising a German Cheka for the extermination of the bourgeoisie and opponents of the Revolution after the transfer of power. The 'Red hundreds' were to provoke clashes with the police so as to cause bloodshed and more serious conflicts, to inflame the workers' indignation and carry out a general working-class uprising.
The lack of a common frontier was at the time a serious obstacle
to the penetration into Germany of substantial forces of Soviet
subversives. Stalin understood this very well, and he was always
fighting to have Poland crushed so that common frontiers could be
established with Germany. When he succeeded in doing this in 1939,
it was a risky step, since a common frontier with Germany meant
that Germany could attack the USSR without warning, as indeed
happened two years later. But without a common frontier Stalin
could not get into Europe.
In a war on one's own territory it is far easier during a temporary retreat to leave partisan forces, or even complete fighting formations, hidden on the ground, than it is to drop them in later by parachute. But Stalin had destroyed such formations [in favor of offensive airborne force development], from which one can draw only one conclusion: Stalin had prepared the airborne corps specifically for dropping on other people's territory.
Many Western experts reckon that the Soviet Union entered the Second World War with a million trained parachutists, who could be used both as airborne troops and in special units -- in the language of today, in spetsnaz.

In this new kind of incendiary attack, highly trained special crews were sent ahead to delineate a clearly defined target area with marker flares, nicknamed by the Germans "Christmas trees." When this had been done, all that remained for the rest of the bomber forces was to lay its bomb carpet so thickly that the defense, the A.R.P., the police, and the fire services would all be overwhelmed.
This fire-raising technique was first used with complete success in the great raid on Hamburg. Thousands of individual fires conglomerated into a single blaze, creating the famous "fire-storms" effect, first described by the Police President of the city in a secret report to Hitler that soon fell into Alliedhands:
"As the result of the confluence of a number of fires, the air above is heated to such an extent that in consequence of its reduced specific gravity, a violent updraft occurs which causes great suction of the surrounding air radiating from the center of the fire... The suction of the fire storm in the larger of these area fire zones has the effect of attracting the already overheated air in smaller area fire zones... One effect of this phenomenon was that the fire in the smaller area fire zones was fanned as by a bellows as the central suction of the biggest and fiercest fires caused increased and accelerated attraction of the surrounding masses of fresh air. In this way all the area fires became united in one vast fire."
The Hamburg fire storm probably killed some 40,000 people:
three-quarters by carbon-monoxide poisoning as a result of the
oxygen being sucked out of the air; the rest by asphyxiation.
As soon as he heard that permission had been given to destroy Dresden, Air Marshal Harris decided to achieve this by a deliberately created fire storm, and to increase the effect he persuaded the Americans to split the available bombers into three groups. The task of the first wave was to create the fire storm. Three hours later, a second and much heavier night force of British bombers was timed to arrive when the German fighter and flak defenses would be off guard, and the rescue squads on their way. Its task was to spread the fire storm. Finally, the next morning, a daylight attack by the Eighth Air Force was to concentrate on the outlying areas, the new city.
Two-pronged attacks had been successfully carried out during 1944 against a number of German towns. The three-pronged attack employed at Dresden was unique and uniquely successful. The first wave, consisting of some two hundred fifty night bombers, arrived precisely on time and duly created a fire storm. The second force -- more than twice as strong and carrying an enormous load of incendiaries -- also reached the target punctually, and, undisturbed by flak or night fighters, spent thirty-four minutes carefully spreading the fires outside the first target area. Finally, to complete the devastation, some two hundred eleven Flying Fortresses of the 'Greatest Generation' began the third attack at 11:30 a.m. on the following morning.
Without exaggeration, the commanders could claim that the Dresden raid had "gone according to plan." Everything which happened in the stricken city had been foreseen and planned with meticulous care.
In the Reichstag he extolled the Jews on account of their
"especial capacity and intelligence for affairs of State". ... He

to the Lynan, the Stirums, the Kusserows, and other houses, in

The unlikelihood that the Leisure Class would be "interested" in developing superior handgun shooting stances combined with the general martial arts principle of repetition over time precluded the development of the Modern Technique of the Pistol in areas that would require indoor environmental (expensive) controls. The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives is actively issuing directions banning private sales of guns without licenses at gun shows in Texas, despite there being no law to justify such demands.
Flyers state that anyone selling a firearm "will be asked to comply with" conditions including operating through a licensed FFL dealer. The notice also states that "Selling firearms in the parking lot will not be permitted."

On a recent radio show Wolf computer guy recommended that people get Loaris Trojan Remover and run a scan on their computers. I did just that and it turned up 24 items that it identified as either viruses, Trojans or suspicious programs. The problem is I have no issues with the performance of my computer also I ran the most updated AVG which detected nothing at all and the most updated Malware bytes which detected nothing at all. I then took the files that Loaris had identified and ran them through Kaspersky's online virus scanner and all files came up clean!. I'm thinking that this Loaris program is just no good and is plagued by false positives. I would hate for people to go and delete files based on what that program is telling them. ~~ LW

TT: In this do-it-yourself age, alot of times you are doing projects your parents would have NEVER thought of taking on. Example; Have you ever changed out an automatic transmission in the back yard WITHOUT a "Transmission Jack"? [Laying on your back under the car?] With patience and care it can be done. Helpful tip:
Make up 2 threaded studs and install them in place of the mounting bolts. That way when the transmission is almost in position you just put those studs in the correct holes and carefully shove the thing into place. Later the guide studs are removed and the correct bolts installed.Welding a cracked engine block? Torque the heads down BEFORE doing any welding - take's the strain off the repair weld area when assembled.

It seems everybody believes you've got to rack up tons of credit card debt and make minimum payments on loans just to "get ahead." As for me, I avoid spending money I don't have, and I pay off my loans as fast as possible. Are the banks just fooling us so they can keep us in debt, or is there any truth to this?
TT says: Bad credit can be good since it forces you to spend within your means. Credit cards are only good if you pay them off every 30 days. Pay as you go is the watchword now. You can make money off a card if you buy something and sell it for a profit in 30 days max 60 days. I say it's silly to buy a house on credit since for 30 years you don't really own the house. The bank owns the house. Plus you are totally responsible for keeping it up. Renting is a lot smarter now. Plus with renting you can move pretty quickly if the job situation changes or the niggers and mexicans take over your neighborhood.

I like to watch this show to observe black and brown in their natural environment. It described how there is massive violence between Mexicans and Black in the ghettos of LA. The story ends as we see the grasshopper and his free-loading friends finishing up the last bits of the ant's food while the government house he is in, which, as you recall, just happens to be the ant's old house, crumbles around them because the grasshopper doesn't maintain it.The ant has disappeared in the snow, never to be seen again.
The grasshopper is found dead in a drug related incident, and the house, now abandoned, is taken over by a gang of spiders who terrorize the ramshackle, once prosperous and once peaceful neighborhood.The entire Nation collapses bringing down the rest of the free world with it.
