The Quiet Coup
The crash has laid bare many unpleasant truths about the United
States. One of the most alarming, says a former chief economist of
the International Monetary Fund, is that the finance industry has
effectively captured our government -- a state of affairs that
more typically describes emerging markets, and is at the center of
many emerging-market crises. If the IMF's staff could speak freely
about the U.S., it would tell us what it tells all countries in
this situation: recovery will fail unless we break the financial
oligarchy that is blocking essential reform. And if we are to
prevent a true depression, we're running out of time.

for Suburbs and Cities
A small but growing number of cash-strapped communities are
printing their own money. Borrowing from a Depression-era idea,
they are aiming to help consumers make ends meet and support
struggling local businesses.
The systems generally work like this: Businesses and individuals
form a network to print currency. Shoppers buy it at a discount --
say, 95 cents for $1 value -- and spend the full value at stores
that accept the currency. Workers with dwindling wages are paying
for groceries, yoga classes and fuel with Detroit Cheers, Ithaca
Hours in New York, Plenty in North Carolina or BerkShares in
Massachusetts.
Ed Collom, a University of Southern Maine sociologist who has
studied local currencies, says they encourage people to buy
locally. Merchants, hurting because customers have cut back on
spending, benefit as consumers spend the local cash.

feeble attempt to personify the beauty and virtue of women? White
men, that's who. Who invented Aphrodite, on whom Venus was
modelled, a thousand years before that? White, Western men. Who
invented Liberty, the mythical girl who personifies American
strength, vitality, and beauty? White men. Do you know who
Britannia is? Or La Semeuse, the Sower? They're two more attempts
by White men to enshrine in our women strength, virtue, and the
hope for future generations. Britannia carries a sword, trident,
shield, and wears a helmet. She is a fighter and a strong
defender, bold and beautiful. And Justice, the mythical woman who
is blindfolded, is portrayed as the seeker of Truth, by White men.
Add to that the countless works of art and the monuments,
attempting to glorify women, by White men, over CENTURIES. And
that's just the fiction. For real women, White men have done more
to stop the oppression of women and to have equal rights for
women, than any men in history (see BOUDICA).
And what have black men done? Oh yeah, they grab their dicks and
wear clown outfits so they can get attention, and strut around
like a bunch of roosters, lol. They're supremely proud of
themselves for accomplishing absolutely nothing! They don't build
monuments to any of our higher ideals. They don't build monuments
at all. They don't even HAVE mythology. Um, kind of hard to write
about it when you don't even have a written language. They don't
have libraries and they don't have poetry, certainly not dedicated
to women. Oh yeah, I forgot, they do have poetry, stuff like
"mother fuck this and-a mother fuck that", and "yo bitch, i'm a
bust you out". I forgot about those contributions to Western
civilization. And black guys do constantly tell women how they're
willing to stick their dicks in them and do them the favor of
screwing them. You just don't get that kind of thoughtful
consideration from White guys.
Boudica was a queen
of the Iceni tribe of what is now known as East Anglia in England, who led
an uprising of the tribes against the occupying forces of the Roman Empire.
Boudica's husband, Prasutagus, an Icenian king who had ruled as a
nominally independent ally of Rome, left his kingdom jointly to
his daughters and the Roman Emperor in his will. However, when he
died his will was ignored. The kingdom was annexed as if
conquered, Boudica was flogged and her daughters raped, and Roman
financiers [???] called in their loans.
A COWBOY NAMED BUD
A cowboy named Bud was overseeing his herd in a remote mountainous
pasture in California when suddenly a brand-new BMW advanced
toward him out of a cloud of dust.
The driver, a young man in a Brioni suit, Gucci shoes, RayBan
sunglasses and YSL tie, leaned out the window and asked the
cowboy, "If I tell you exactly how many cows and calves you have
in your herd, Will you give me a calf?"
Bud looks at the man, obviously a yuppie, then looks at his
peacefully grazing herd and calmly answers, "Sure, Why not?"
The yuppie parks his car, whips out his Dell notebook computer,
connects it to his Cingular RAZR V3 cell phone, and surfs to a
NASA page on the Internet, where he calls up a GPS satellite to
get an exact fix on his location which he then feeds to another
NASA satellite that scans the area in an ultra-high-resolution photo.
The young man then opens the digital photo in Adobe Photoshop and
exports it to an image processing facility in Hamburg, Germany.
Within seconds, he receives an email on his Palm Pilot that the
image has been processed and the data stored. He then accesses an
MS-SQL database through an ODBC connected Excel spreadsheet with
email on his Blackberry and, after a few minutes, receives a response.
Finally, he prints out a full-color, 150-page report on his hi-tech,
miniaturized HP LaserJet printer, turns to the cowboy and says,
"You have exactly 1,586 cows and calves."
"That's right. Well, I guess you can take one of my calves," says Bud.
He watches the young man select one of the animals and looks on
with amusement as the young man stuffs it into the trunk of his car.
Then Bud says to the young man, "Hey, if I can tell you exactly
what your business is, will you give me back my calf?"
The young man thinks about it for a second and then says, "Okay,
why not?"
"You're a Congressman for the U.S. Government", says Bud.
"Wow! That's correct," says the yuppie, "but how did you guess
that?"
"No guessing required." answered the cowboy. "You showed up here
even though nobody called you; you want to get paid for an answer
I already knew, to a question I never asked. You used millions of
dollars worth of equipment trying to show me how much smarter than
me you are; and you don't know a thing about how working people
make a living - or about cows, for that matter."
"This is a herd of sheep! ... Now give me back my dog."

crap? This is insanity! It's off the deep-end. It's what happens
when you give the depraved a free hand under cover of political
correctness. It's time we arrested the lot of them, and all those

Kids Told to Shout Obscenities
in 'Swearing Lesson'
A British school was blasted Friday after kids as young as 11 were
told to shout obscenities
during a lesson in swearing. Expletives
like the f-word and c-word were written on a blackboard before a
teacher explained their meaning to 30 seventh graders.
St. Laurence School in Bradford on Avon, Wilts, claims it was part
of a sex and relationship education program to "dispel" the myths
of swear words. But parents say they were not consulted by head James
Colquhoun about the class and say kids were left "deeply upset." Some
pupils claim the teacher told them not to tell parents about the lesson.
In February The Sun reported on 10-year-olds at a church primary
school who were told to write the crudest words they knew to
"analyze bullying insults."
