Massachusetts politician and defense attorney Rep. James Fagan is under intense public scrutiny after he promised to "rip apart" child victims of rape who testify if the state imposes strict sentences for sex offenders.
Fagan, a Democrat, made his controversial remarks on the state House floor, Fox News reported.
"I'm gonna rip them apart," Fagan said of child victims. "I'm going to make sure that the rest of their life is ruined, that when they're 8 years old, they throw up; when they're 12 years old, they won't sleep; when they're 19 years old, they'll have nightmares and they'll never have a relationship with anybody."

According to Fox News, law professor Phyllis Goldfarb said Fagan comments were somewhat truthful in that they describe a defense attorney's obligation to find holes in the prosecutor's case when a person accused of sexually abusing a child faces mandatory sentencing.
"It is fundamentally true ... if the proof is coming almost exclusively through a child witness you may have to find a way to test it," Goldfarb said. "That's the attorney-client obligation there."
Goldfarb said Fagan's language might have been dramatic, but she said he was just describing his profession.
"You do have to challenge a witness," she told Fox News. "Some people find ways of doing that that are loyal to their role as defense attorneys -- testing the proof (in ways) that aren't abusive to a witness, but it's very hard. And I think being put in that hard position is what he seems to be railing against here, using language that's probably a little bit hyperbolic."

Hi, I just recently discovered your website. I read the article re: northwest migration.
I am a female of German, Norwegian, & Swedish descent. I am a nurse and live in Sacramento. I have become increasingly unhappy over the last few years here. That whites are the minority definitely applies here in CA.
In each class picture my 9 y/o grandson is the only child with blond hair. He is a towhead as his Mom and myself were. I have tried to ignore things but I have about come to the conclusion I would be much happier living in a community with people of like views and background.
I feel somewhat isolated here. I am a nurse at a state prison and we had a prisoner named Rudolph who I talked to about Idaho. He mentioned Coeur d' Alene. But I want to pick the right place. Is Idaho the best spot or ???
Not knowing anyone up that way makes it harder to pick a spot. How do I find what I'm looking for I guess is what I'm asking. Any info to get me on the right track is appreciated.

"Did this happen to you?" I asked, pulling up my shirt to show the colostomy. Then it turned out they couldn't find a replacement bag in the whole facility. I had an argument with a negro sub-janitor about putting my stuff on the windowsill. "You sounds like you is tryin' to soun' mo' intelligent than you is." Was his repartee.
Fortunately, most of the time I didn't have a roommate: in order to keep the money flowing by showing that they are operating at full capacity, they put one person to a room. One roommate was an AFRICAN-american who monopolized the television and just surfed from one screen full of black faces to the next. When his IV machine wouldn't stop whistling and honking through the night, I went out to the nurses' station to tell them. When he found out, he told his wife that I was going to get my "ass in a sling" daring to act that way.
My biggest worry was that they were going to put that hispanic in my room who came in a double-wide wheel chair. I had never seen a double-wide wheel chair. He must have weighed somewhere between seven and nine hundred pounds. The nurses insisted he didn't weigh more than six hundred. The hell he didn't. In fact, facially he looked exactly like that mexican guy who was featured on a US documentary about the heaviest man in the world. Judging from the voices and noises coming out of the bathroom, it took three nurses to hoist him on and off the potty. No privacy for fatties!! Well, they didn't put him in my room.
The rooms are clean and new, not at all like the third world which mostly occupies them. On the day I left I saw the first white family (about an hour later they were in tears: their man had died or his case was hopeless, that was obvious) of visitors; I couldn't help whispering to the rather comely early middle-age woman: "I'm going home today, and you're the first white faces I've seen in two weeks." "Well, at least you're going home" she said, cryptically.
The food was inedible: it would be impossible to spend less money on a "meal". My brother-in-law, from Italy and familiar with corruption, opined that somebody in Washington is pocketing the money that's supposed to go for better meals. I found out that one side of the meal tray is heated in Queens, then they send it to Manhattan to heat the other side, then to the Bronx to be consumed. Fortunately my sister brought me food. On the day I left I told the nurse who was walking in with a tray: "Don't even bother to put that down. Feed it to a pig, if you can find a suicidal pig!"
So, I'll have to go back there to have a piece taken out of my colon, if and when they decide to operate. Meantime the bureaucracy is dragging its feet about getting the whole treatment show on the road (I just got an {incomplete} colonoscopy/biopsy yesterday), while I live with the incomparable degradation of a colostomy; in other words: a provisional, artificial anus drilled through my belly.
Well, in the long run I have a longer-running medical concern: if the cafe-au-lait creature is elected president, what anti-emetic will I be able to tolerate imbibing every day for four or eight years?

He said the act of welcoming is important in the parish, which is just about evenly split between black and white members.

Lefebvrist Bishop Tells Truth !!
A senior bishop of the Lefebvrist Society of St Pius X (SSPX) has endorsed the Protocols of the Elders of Zion, an expose of world Zionism.
Richard Williamson, one of four bishops ordained by Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre, told The Catholic Herald that the document -- which reveals a Jewish plot to dominate the world -- was authentic.
He is also on record as saying that the Jews are fighting for world domination "to prepare the Anti-Christ's throne in Jerusalem". The SSPX has refused to condemn English-born Bishop Williamson and says it has "no policy" on the authenticity of the Protocols.
The Society's support for Williamson -- who also believes that the Americans planned 9/11 -- is likely to end any chance of full reconciliation between the SSPX and Rome.
The Simon Wiesenthal Centre, a Jewish human rights organisation, said this week that it is planning to take action against Williamson.
Williamson, 67, who was excommunicated along with Archbishop Lefebvre and now runs an SSPX seminary in Argentina. Some of his former students have posted video tributes to him on YouTube, in which he expounds his conspiracy theories.

June 30, 2008 - Three consecutive Mondays at 10 p.m. on WNET/13, beginning tonight.
Star historian Niall Ferguson makes his case for understanding the violence that wracked the 20th century. His take is "revisionist," hence, there's a whiff of controversy here. Based on his 2006 book of the same name.
Tonight's first hour begins with H.G. Wells' "astonishingly prescient" 1898 account of an epic battle between Mars and Earth, and how vast numbers of cities would be laid to waste in the 20th century by men who treated their opponents, quite simply, as "aliens."
Says Ferguson, who narrates, we were taught that "the good guys won the hot and cold war, [but] in this series, I want to tell you that was all wrong. It wasn't class but race that was the dominant idea of the 20th century; it wasn't nation states, but empires." He adds that the history of the last century wasn't about the triumph of the West, but "the resurgence of the East." Tonight covers the start of the 20th century to the beginning of the second World War, although in Ferguson's treatment, such distinctions as "first" and "second" are largely irrelevant.
Ferguson's a powerful and incisive narrator ("it wasn't appeasement that led to war, [but] war that led to appeasement") while his condemnation tonight of Stalin and Bolshevism brims with absolute clarity.

A "dead zone" off the Louisiana and Texas coasts could grow this summer to a record 10,084 square miles, scientists predicted Monday, based on nitrate levels in the Mississippi River. The excess nutrients spur algae growth, which leads to oxygen-depleted waters, threatening local fishing.
Arctic sea ice melting faster than expected!
Arctic ocean sea ice - one of the most visible signs of global warming - may be headed for another record breaking summer decline.
If the pattern continues, new research suggests, its warming effect could reach up to 900 miles inland, melting permafrost and potentially altering weather patterns at lower latitudes.
As of June 7, preliminary data show that the vast expanse of ice at the top of the world is some 55,800 square miles smaller than it was on the same date last year, according to University of Colorado researcher Sheldon Drobot. In May, sea-ice extent was slightly large than in May 2007. But the melt rate during the month -- some 3,000 square miles a day -- was faster, according to the National Snow and Ice Data Center in Boulder, Colo.
The ice's seasonal shrinkage in 2007 smashed records, reaching a September minimum of 2.6 million square miles -- some 23 percent smaller than the previous record, set in 2005. If it sets another record this year, it would mark the fifth season of record declines since 1998.
"The next few weeks should be quite instructive, and by mid July we ought to have a very good sense of how things are shaping up," says Dr. Drobot, who is using satellite data on ice extent to develop forecasts of seasonal changes in Arctic Ocean ice cover.
The prospect of more open water in the Arctic Ocean in summer would be a boon to shipping interests, greatly reducing the sailing time between Europe and Asia, for instance. But from a climate standpoint, more open water during summer translates into warmer temperatures, since the dark seawater absorbs sunlight, stores the heat, then slowly releases it.
The question now: "We see this big drop; are we going to hit a plateau and bounce around for a while or are we in free-fall?" he asks.
"The Arctic is a real challenge; it's a complicated place up there," he says.

An area the size of Alaska was put off-limits to commercial tuna fleets in the southern Pacific Ocean Sunday as island nations there sought to protect the species from over fishing. Papua New Guinea, the Solomon Islands, and six others imposed the ban after the regional commission that regulates fishing failed to agree on strengthened conservation measures at its annual meeting. About half of the world's annual tuna catch comes from the Pacific - mostly from the region covered by the ban.

The areas are growing in number and in size, with the largest one now covering over 250 square miles of ocean. These dead zones are caused by pollution and uncontrolled chemical and toxic waste dumping by unsavory and corrupt corporations that would rather dump over a million tons of death into our oceans every year than lose the profits it would cost them to obey the law.
And though the U.S. is guilty of this as well, the real culprits are Japan, Russia and China, and many of the other so-called "developing" Third World countries which have no controls on their dumping, or if they do, are not enforced because of rampant corruption and pay-offs to regulatory officials in these countries. These countries, particularly the Asian ones, couldn't care less about the environment. It's something in their culture. China for example, already has a horrendous smog problem and they haven't even gotten to the half-way point in the number of autos and trucks they plan to put on the road in the next five years. In Japan they have "oxygen stations" where city dwellers can stop and suck in a breath of clean air so they won't pass out from the thick, noxious atmosphere that hangs like a dark, brown shroud over the entire city. I've personally seen Japanese sailors dumping thousands of barrels of liquid toxic waste into pristine ocean environments, killing everything it touches for miles around. And it goes nowhere. It's in the water forever. They are shitting in our nest and something must be done to stop these bastards. The ocean waters circulate, and we get their poisons over here, just as surely as if we had dumped them ourselves. And do they care? Of course not. Germany pioneered the protection of animal rights. The main principles of Germans protection of animals have been generally accepted today and integrated into the western legislation. Even their strictest ideas prohibiting animal abuse are still alive.

In the meticulous history section, he leaves the period 1880-1945 out completely. Because the writer is obviously well acquainted with the topic, it is hardly an accident. He refers to the nazis' human tests comparing them to the modern vivisection and brings up the Buddhist principles of protecting animals as a contrasting idea.
This is troublesome reading to someone who is familiar with the subject, because nazis also appealed to Buddhism as the opposite of the animal hostility in Christianity - which they considered one branch of Judaism.

Almost none of those rotten SOBs got prosecuted because they bought off the Jews on Wall Street. Hell, they could afford it. It still left most of them with multi-millions hidden away for a rainy day...
Well, as I write, those exact-same bastards are buying up oil stocks and artificially jacking up the price in order to make a killing on the stock market and in oil dividends. And they're doing it! Now they've graduated from screwing thousands to screwing the entire population of America. Folks, it's not, NOT OPEC that's causing the oil rip-off! The Arabs only provide us with 12% of all our oil. That's all! The price of oil is being manipulated by our own corrupt leaders and corporate executives. And our government could put a stop to it overnight if they wanted to. But most of those pricks on the Hill have millions in oil stock, and many are like the Bush family which made it's fortune in oil.
Bush is an oil man, first and foremost, and his family is getting filthy rich--er from this. He's not about to stop it. His father George senior was quoted as saying to a confidant once, "If the American people knew what we've done and are doing to them, we'd all be hanging from the lamp posts!" That's the truest thing he ever stated...
We're being attacked on every conceivable front by every enemy we have, and some we didn't know were our enemies. And the only way we're going to survive this is to fight back. Virtually all of the remaining 280 white farmers have been invaded by government
supporters since Mr Mugabe lost the first round of the presidential election in
March. Yesterday Reinier van Rensburg left Upper Romsey farm for the final time,
evicted by a senior official in the ruling Zanu-PF party.
"This is my last day," he said, as his few remaining staff loaded scrap metal and spare parts on to a lorry. "That's it, we will have to get permission from court before we will be able to come back here.
"It's just very disappointing," said Mr van Rensburg, 37, who is married with two children. "I feel betrayed by the government. All we were doing was growing food for the country. We were not getting involved in politics or anything. What did we do?" His father, also Reinier, 69, said: "I have been there for 40 years. That's my whole life."
Mr van Rensburg is one of 10 siblings and the family used to own 10 properties covering 32,000 acres. But in 2004, four years into Mr Mugabe's violent land seizure programme, they surrendered nine of them to the government in exchange for a promise that they could keep the last remaining one, Upper Romsey farm, at Lions Den, a mere 2,000-odd acres about 80 miles north of Harare. "We didn't even hesitate. We agreed to that immediately," said Mr van Rensburg. "By then we were already in survival mode."
But last year Moris Mpofu, an official of Zimbabwe's Reserve Bank, arrived at the property holding an offer letter from Didymus Mutasa, the minister of land and resettlement, giving him ownership of the land. A series of court actions followed, and in November around 60 Zanu-PF militia installed themselves on the farm. Mr Van Rensburg's workers were abused and threatened, and his manager's wife beaten up.
Mr Mpofu is reaping the summer crop of maize and soybeans Mr van Rensburg planted, worth around £400,000, and the business is being asset-stripped. About 70 farm workers were mostly left unemployed and many joined the exodus to South Africa.
Finally a fortnight ago a court issued a final eviction order against Mr van Rensburg, who is Zimbabwean-born.

Pupil gains marks for exam expletive
LONDON (Reuters) - A student who scribbled an expletive on an English language exam paper was awarded 7.5 percent for accurate spelling and effective communication, The Times newspaper reported on Monday.
The pupil, who wrote "f--- off" after being asked in an English exam to "describe the room you are sitting in", got 2 marks out of 27 and would have got more if he had added some punctuation, chief examiner Peter Buckroyd told The Times.
"It does show some very basic skills we are looking for -- like conveying some meaning and some spelling," said Buckroyd, who works for the Assessment and Qualifications Alliance examinations board. "It shows some nominal skills but no relevance to the task".
"If it had had an exclamation mark it would have got a little bit more because it would have been showing a little bit of skill".

Extremely tall negro sheep molester strikes six times
18 June 2008 - ANIMAL charities and farm workers have condemned a spate of sick animal attacks which are believed to have left two sheep dead.
Over recent months, the Times has heard reports of an extremely tall teen or adult black male (like one of those American negro basketball players) sexually assaulting sheep in Chislehurst but it wasn't until last week that witnesses formally reported it to police. Believing him to have had sexual contact with the sheep, they alerted a National Trust warden who arrived at the same time as the farmer who helped the sheep to its feet and discovered a discarded shitty jogging bottoms.
Stable girl Chloe Williams, 18, witnessed another incident on May 16. She said: "I saw him in broad daylight. I was in the yard and only looked over because all the sheep were running. Jun. 26, 2008 - The recipients of free coffee (police) reluctlantly arrested a very dark Mesa negro male on suspicion of purchasing stolen cell phones and reselling them on Craig's List, police said.
Police were able to track Adam Cornelius William, 21, an "intellectual" colored boy, after he sold one of the stolen phones to the original owner who saw it posted on the online classified service, a report said.
On Tuesday morning an employee at a Coastal Wireless kiosk at Superstition Springs Center discovered 30 cell phones, one laptop computer and two rolls of Scott Bathroom Tissue missing, valued at $2,000. The owner of the business searched Craig's List to locate the stolen cell phones and noticed an advertisement that matched the description of a phone taken from the kiosk, police said.
On Wednesday afternoon the owner called the advertiser and they agreed to meet in the parking lot of a Jack in the Box near Power and Baseline roads, where the owner purchased the phone for $180. William asked the store owner if he wanted to buy any more phones and showed him several unopened ones in the trunk of his car, police said. The store owner did not purchase any other phones.
Shortly after, the store owner matched the serial number of the phone he just purchased and the phone that was stolen and contacted the too busy police. On Wednesday evening, police stopped William in his car and he was arrested on an outstanding warrant (deadbeat motherfucker). Police found five unopened cell phones, bolt cutters, an AT&T polo shirt, six pairs of FUBU boxer shorts, two orders of Jack in the Box Chipotle Chicken Ciabatta and a laptop, the report said.
The serial numbers of the phones were checked and confirmed as stolen from the kiosk, the very tired police said. Three Victims in Bulldozer Attack

Elkhart church spray-painted with racist graffiti
ELKHART, Ind. - A church with many black members was spray-painted with racist graffiti, including swastikas and the letters "KKK."
Police are trying to determine whether the vandalism at the Unity Church of God could be related to a recent fight in the neighborhood, said Elkhart Police spokesman Lt. Ed Windbigler. A fight broke out early Sunday between four white men and four black men, he said, and a 19-year-old black man was shot in the leg.
The slurs and other graffiti were spray-painted on the church either late Sunday or early Monday. Police have sent the case to the FBI for review.
Unity Church pastor the Rev. William Hackworth said his members are hurt by the vandalism.
