Scottish music today is heavy drum music.

across almost like a training film for the occupation forces. Im glad it had a broader audience. Im glad its still being shown. I wish I had tuned in in time to see whether there was any commentary describing
it as Wartime-style/early-postwar propaganda. The last quarter of it was a
warning against domestic U.S. "fascists and racists". The interesting
thing: it never used the word Jew Jewish.
I just looked it
up in the Internet Movie Database: It received the Oscar for Best Short
Subject. It was released in December 1945 and written by Saul
Elkins. Apparently it was originally intended for the military and then
rewritten according to the regulation that a film made for the Army could be
released to the general public only if it didnt use
the original soundtrack. Elkins lived wouldnt you
know to the ripe age of 94 but the last film he wrote was 1950. I couldnt find out if he was blacklisted by HUAC pressure. If
so that would suggest communist and not just Jewish background.

ideal we must believe it possible and realistic or else we will not seek to
achieve it.
Films are not just reflections of us- we are also symbiotic reflections of our
films... both mirrors and portraits.
Consequently we need films that offer and serve as positive role models...

The U.S. emerged from the carnage of the Second World War relatively unscathed.
The great champion of world capitalism was determined to take advantage of this
opportunity to extend its social system globally. The Soviet Union and its
satellites stood in the way of that.
It was in the context of international conflict between the U.S. and USSR that
racial segregation in the American South became problematic. Racial
discrimination was a handicap for the U.S. in the U.N. and in competing with
the USSR for influence throughout the Third World. This was the major reason
that the American establishment suddenly embraced “civil rights reform” during
the Truman administration.
The anti-communists Harry Truman Dwight Eisenhower and John F. Kennedy were the
ones who set the desegregation ball rolling. The State Department intervened in
the Brown case and several others like it in support of civil rights reform.
The American establishment was already working to abolish Jim Crow years before
the Civil Rights Movement kicked off in Montgomery in 1955. Racialism got in
the way of defending capitalism from communism so the capitalists in America
turned against segregation.
3.) After the demise of Jim Crow in the United States Southerners made another
mistake by throwing their support behind the young conservative movement in the
belief that racialists and conservatives shared a common interest in curtailing
the power of the federal government. The long term result of this realignment
was another round of de-racialization and the
strengthening of the very force that had been at work destroying racialism for
30 years.
4.) The insatiable appetite of capitalists for cheap third world labor has
produced a racial catastrophe throughout the West without parallel in the
communist world. Whereas half the children in America are now non-white Russia
and Poland remain racially homogeneous and less contaminated by the cultural
degeneracy of the decomposing West. Here again we find that communism is the
lesser of two evils.
5.) The last race regime in the world was toppled when an international embargo
took down apartheid in South Africa. In that case the communist insurgents that
the Afrikaners had spent years fighting in Namibia and Angola proved less of a
threat to their survival than the attitude of the Western powers.

Straight talking American icon Willie Nelson today told a national radio show
that he thought the twin towers were imploded like condemned Las Vegas casino
buildings as the country music superstar forcefully voiced his doubts about the
official 9/11 story.
He questioned the official story Nelson elaborated "I saw those towers
fall and Ive seen an implosion in Las Vegas - theres too much similarities between the two and I saw a
building fall that didnt get hit by nothing"
added Nelson referring to WTC Building 7 which collapsed in the late afternoon
of September 11.
"How naive are we - what do they think well go for?" asked Nelson
pointing out that his doubts began on the very day of 9/11.
"I saw one fall and it was just so symmetrical I said wait a minute I just
saw that last week at the casino in Las Vegas and you see these implosions all
the time and the next one fell and I said hell theres
another one - and theyre trying to tell me that an
airplane did it and I cant go along with that" said Nelson.
The former Highwayman fresh from his appearance at this past weekends
super bowl questioned why Afghanistan became an immediate target in the
aftermath of 9/11 when the official story posited that mostly Saudi Arabians
were responsible for the attack.
"When I get hit I like to look around and see who did it before I start
swinging at everybody in the room and thats kind of
what we were doing" said Nelson "We get hit over here and then next
thing you know were jumping on everybody in the town - so (if) we got hit from
Saudi Arabia I think weve got some questions that
need to be answered from those folks" said Nelson.
In light of his viewpoint Nelson said that recent revelations concerning the impartiality
of the 9/11 Commission and its close links with the White House did not
surprise him.
"What does it take for us to realize were having the wool pulled over our
eyes one more time?" he concluded.
Nelson is not the first high-profile public figure to question 9/11. In March
2006 actor Charlie Sheen voiced his doubts and was followed last year by his
father Martin Sheen.
Aside from celebrities - professors scientists and other experts the world over
have questioned the inconsistencies in the official story and the topic was
most recently even a subject of serious debate in the Japanese Parliament.
In December former Italian President Francesco Cossiga
told Italys most respected newspaper Corriere della Sera that the
attacks were run by the CIA and Mossad and that this
was common knowledge amongst global intelligence agencies.
Former German Secretary of Defense Andreas von Bülow
also went public in blaming American intelligence for instigating the attack.
Nelsons country music contemporaries The Dixie Chicks were savaged by the
establishment when they criticized the Bush administration shortly before the
invasion of Iraq. It remains to be seen whether the corporate media will dare
take on Nelson for his views or whether they will just try to ignore the story

Stanley Graham was not a madman he was a man who was pushed to the brink....he wouldnt give up his guns and he shot two cops with one

on....I could get more info from my grandfather when I am next on the
coast....interesting story.

Eric Stanley Graham (c. 1900–21 October 1941) was a mass murderer in New
Zealand who killed seven people.
Graham was a farmer at Kowhitirangi an agricultural
district 12 miles from Hokitika in the South Island
where he lived with his wife and two children. He became argumentative and
alienated from the community from 1938 onwards alleging that neighbours were poisoning his cows. As income from his farm
dropped he fell into debt and his behaviour towards
others became more threatening.
During 1941 he was in dispute with the police who wanted to relieve him of his
firearms because of his mental condition.
On October 8 Graham confronted a neighbour with a
rifle. Later that morning Constable Edward Best 27 attempted to discuss the
matter with Graham but backed off with Graham pointing two rifles out the
window at him. Best retreated to Hokitika for support
and returned to the farm with Sergeant William Cooper 43 and Constables
Frederick Jordan 26 and Percy Tulloch 35.
Graham fired at them as they approached the house and Sergeant Cooper and
Constables Jordan and Tulloch were killed instantly Cooper having at least four
bullet wounds in his body.
More than 100 police and army personnel searched dense bush for Graham for 12
days. On October 20 an injured Graham was shot dead by police as he walked out
of the bush. There were reports he was intending to surrender to police.
A New Zealand movie Bad Blood was made about Stanley Graham and his chain of
killings as well as the dimensions of historical context and social injustice
involved. There have been several biographical accounts of his life and the
murders published in the intervening half-century since the tragedies occurred.

Alter kocker anti-immigrant activist Elton Hall 74 a
persistent protester of the Macehualli Work Center

morning when two vehicles collided at the intersection of 25th Street and Bell.
According to Phoenix police Bernardino Diaz Conde was
making an illegal left-hand turn onto 25th from Bell when he struck an
eastbound vehicle being driven by Robin Govert. Goverts vehicle slid out of control went up on the sidewalk
and hit Hall who was standing near the curb.
Halls injuries were not life-threatening though an ambulance was called and he
was taken to Paradise Valley Hospital. A spokesperson for the hospital listed
him as being in stable condition. Speculation from some at the scene was that
Hall might have broken a leg or a hip but PV Hospital declined to verify the
exact nature of Halls injuries. This sort of accident may have been just a
matter of time. On each occasion Ive paid a visit to Macehualli Hall was invariably standing right next to the
curb on Bell with some sign warning of the evils of immigration. And Bells a very busy roadway to say the least. No doubt the

mentioned in two academic studies about white supremacists in America. In the
Duke University Press Gods of the Blood: The Pagan Revival and White Separatism
by Mattias Gardell pg. 261
Hall is mentioned in reference to a far-right-winger by the name of Valgard Murray:
"Active in the national socialist wing of the radical right Murray in the
late 1960s learned about Odinism through Elton Hall
then Arizona organizer of the American Nazi Party."
Halls also mentioned in the study The Cultic Milieu: Oppositional Subcultures
in an Age of Globalization by Jeffrey Kaplan and Heléne
Lööw (AltaMira Press) on
page 172:
"In Rockwells American Nazi Party (ANP) Arizona
organizer Elton Hall in vain tried to move the ANP toward a more class-based
white worker direction and to get it engaged in union organizing."
Ive confronted Hall more than once about his past. He
answers to his name for me but thats
about it. Otherwise he just offers a coy little smile. Hes been less coy towards Salvador
Reza the operator of the Macehualli Work Center.
Reza says Halls called him and the day-laborers at the center
"wetbacks" in the past. This despite the fact Rezas
an American citizen whos served in the armed forces.
Hall is the kind of far-right crackpot that the U.S.A-organized protests at Macehualli continue to attract. I dont
know if Halls an actual
"member" of U.S.A. but they seem to get along fine with him.

the very section of sidewalk where the car struck him Saturday. I didnt see her around however on the day of the accident.

Reza told me that he and others prayed openly for Hall after he was hit and
were taunted for doing so by the nativists.)
I did ask Elton Halls compadres if they knew that he
was a famous neo-Nazi. They said I was lying but the pics
dont lie. And I suspect that even if they knew of his
background theyd just shrug it off.
One protester did mention that Hall was a veteran. I dont
know if this is true. However I do know that American Nazi Party founder
George Lincoln Rockwell served with distinction during WWII. Does that lessen
his influence as one of the premier American bigots of his time? Not at all.

Lantos 80 a Democrat from California died at Bethesda Naval Hospital in

Watch (PMW) organization which translated the dialogue. In a PA childrens program called Tomorrows Pioneers a young girl
hostess asks the new character "Why is your name Assoud
since you are a rabbit?" Assoud replies: "A
rabbit is a [term] for a bad person and coward. And I Assoud
will finish off the Jews and eat them." "Allah Willing!" the

Later in the show children are taught that the Jewish city of Tel Aviv is
actually Arab and that it must be "liberated" by way of Hamas-style
terrorism. Assoud asks the child hostess of the
program "Do you know the original name of our city... Tel Aviv?"

she replies "but the Zionists today call it Tel Aviv but it will stay
ours.... And we will return with Allahs will." Assoud: "How will we go to our city if the Jews took
it?" "We will continue the resistance [a PA term for terrorism]"
she answers. The program ends with singing: "We will never recognize
Israel...." with the hostess emphasizing the call to "liberate our
homeland from the Zionist filth." The show Tomorrows Pioneers first became
known for its genocidal Mickey Mouse look-alike character Farfur.
The shows producers had Farfur murdered by Israelis
and replaced by Nahoul the bee who was killed off in
an episode in which Israel would not allow him to leave Gaza for medical
treatment.

European archives release vintage films online

Where do you go if you want to watch rare archive films such as a 1916 document
about life on a German submarine or John Fords 53-minute Western "Bucking
Broadway" from the following year?
Until now the answer would have been a trip to one of the film archives that
house these prints respectively Londons Imperial War
Museum and the French Film Archive.
But that is about to change with the launch in April of a Europe-wide
video-on-demand platform bringing together content from 37 film archives and cinematheques across the continent. And the good news for
film buffs is that its free.
European Film Treasures as the site will be known is the brainchild of Serge
Bromberg founder of Paris-based historic film and restoration specialist
Lobster Films. The European Unions MEDIA Program has pledged to put up half of
the approximately 500000 euros ($725000) needed to
fund the project for its first year.
European Film Treasures is hoping to tap into a chunk of the huge audience for
free on-line video sites like YouTube and Bebo.
"The difficulty today is not so much to find old films and restore them
its finding an audience for them" Bromberg says. "These are some of
the best films shot in Europe over more than 80 years but its
often difficult to convince people to see films like these."
Each partner archive will propose films and a jury of historic film specialists
will decide which to include on the VoD site based on
criteria such as historical interest and artistic quality. Footage will be
accessible for streaming only not download but the site may in the future
extend to associated DVD sales.
Films will be available in their original language with translation where
needed into English French German Italian and Spanish.
The site is expected to launch with about 100 titles but the aim is to include
as many as 500 films once fully loaded. Lobster is coming up with original
music to accompany silent films.
It took two years to convince all the archives to come on board. "They
thought it was a good idea but considered it was impossible. The idea is not
just to show their films but also to present the archives and their work"
Bromberg says.
The only major national archive that decided not to be represented was from
Belgium. "That is to their great shame" Bromberg opines.
Bryony Dixon curator (silent film) at the British Film Institutes National
Archive says that VoD is a well-adapted platform for
these early and short films which are otherwise difficult to program.
"Theatrical you may get a few thousand viewers. On the Web you can get
hundreds of thousands or even millions. If you put it out there people will
find it. You get that long-tale effect."
As with the other partner archives the BFI is not putting in any financing but
simply making films available. "Were in a good position to do that as
probably the biggest film archive in Europe" Dixon says.
Among films the BFI is submitting are "Daisy
Doodads Dial" a 1913 British-made comedy starring U.S. actress Florence
Turner and a rare film of a French boxing champion. "Well pick things that
have appeal like the boxing film which will be really interesting for the
boxing community because its not seen before"
Dixon contends.
For its part the Danish Film Institute is submitting a 1923 Danish film that is
one of the earliest examples of a viable talking film; an animated sausage
commercial film from the mid-1930s that uses Dufay Color a mosaic screen
additive system that predates Technicolor; and a raunchy 1910 one-reeler about Copenhagen nightlife.
"These are films that we restored recently. Theyre all entertaining films one
about color and cinema one about sound and cinema. Its broadening peoples idea of the development of cinema" said Thomas
Christensen curator of the DFI.
"Its great that theres this kind of channel for
content that is otherwise sitting fallow in the archive" said Christensen.
"I dont expect it to become a blockbuster phenomenon.
It might never be more than marginal but its an
interesting channel to be represented on. I think this is very much a
transition time and we have to explore the possibilities."

German police raided Thursday the headquarters of the neo-Nazi National
Democratic Party (NPD) in Berlin arresting the partys
treasurer Erwin Kemna on financial corruption charges
news reports said.
An unidentified party spokesman said he did not know why the police sweep was
conducted.
The NPD has faced severe financial problems over the past months.
The far-right party is not represented in the German parliament but has secured
seats in the assemblies of two east German states.
Although there have been calls by the public to outlaw the neo-Nazi party the
German government is wary of a new legal bid to bar the NPD after the countrys highest court in 2003 blocked a previous attempt
to ban the right-wing extremist party.
