This energy co-operation is rendering the US administration's economic sanctions on Iran ineffective. However, the Russians must now assess the likelihood of being supplanted by China if they appear willing to trade favors with Washington and lose the confidence of Tehran. Iran may yet emerge as a leading member of a post-Cold War alliance which will work to undermine US regional objectives.

I felt obliged to write you on this, since I've always respected your

I have been researching radical Islam and have run into a number of
conspiracies related to the events of September 11th, 2001--the World
Trade Center attacks.

There is even a group of seemingly educated men, calling themselves
Architects and Engineers for 911 Truth. They are putting out the idea
that the buildings were in fact professionally imploded.

My personal view on the scenario is simply that a bunch of faithful
ragheads fucked the US hard, and for the most part, were pretty damn
successful.

Does it have to go beyond that? Perhaps the powers that be caught wind of such a plot and let us have our modern Pearl Harbor, that's about
as far as I could take it.

I've included the below article on the tracking of a Pedophile to explain a point I'd like to make which I think is important. I've always observed that the authorities seem to show case their best forensic and investigative technology in cases involving Pedophiles. So if we want to learn how to best protect ourselves from the cutting edge in police science then we should pay attention to how they go after pedophiles. Whenever I see a big case involving Pedophiles I read up on how the case was made and try to take lessons learned from it. In this particular case the pervert appeared in pornographic images with under aged boys. The pictures appeared online however the face of the pervert had been obscured by blurring it out with a photo editor like Photoshop so his identity was unknown. German police were able to descramble the image and restore his face and then were able to identify who he is and now he is a wanted man. The lesson here for us is that blurring your face out on a digital photo can be undone by police and therefore is not a secure way to hide the identity of a lone wolf...Lesson learned!

Dear Dean Randall:

Thank you very much for the invitation to speak at the law school’s commencement in May. I am honored by the invitation, but regret that I am not able to accept it due to other commitments at that time.

I also received the law school’s invitation to the presentation of the “Morris Dees Justice Award,” which you also mentioned in your letter as one of the “great things” happening at the law school. I decline that invitation for another reason. Morris Dees is a con man and fraud, as I and others, such as U.S. Circuit Judge Cecil Poole, have observed and as has been documented by John Egerton, Harper’s, the Montgomery Advertiser in its “Charity of Riches” series, and others.

The positive contributions Dees has made to justice–most undertaken based upon calculations as to their publicity and fund raising potential–are far overshadowed by what Harper’s described as his “flagrantly misleading” solicitations for money. He has raised millions upon millions of dollars with various schemes, never mentioning that he does not need the money because he has $175 million and two “poverty palace” buildings in Montgomery. He has taken advantage of naive, well-meaning people–some of moderate or low incomes–who believe his pitches and give to his $175-million operation. He has spent most of what they have sent him to raise still more millions, pay high salaries, and promote himself. Because he spends so much on fund raising, his operation spends $30 million a year to accomplish less than what many other organizations accomplish on shoestring budgets.

The award does not recognize the work of others by associating them with Dees; it promotes Dees by associating him with the honorees. Both the law school and Skadden are diminished by being a part of another Dees scam.

BEIJING (XFN-ASIA) - China's crude oil production will peak at about 190 mln tons by 2015, according to a report by the China News Service.
The report cited Pang Xiongqi, professor at the China University of Petroleum, who also said that the country's natural gas production would peak at 120 bln cubic meters by 2035.
China faces even more serious energy supply challenges once the peak has been passed, Pang said, and will be forced to spend more of its foreign currency reserves on increasingly expensive crude imports.
Dwindling oil production could also lead to a further increase in the consumption of coal, putting more pressure on the environment, Pang said.
A research report produced by the China Academy of Social Sciences in 2006 predicted that, on the basis of current consumption and production patterns, China's oil reserves would be exhausted by 2020.
China's biggest oil fields in the east, including Daqing in northeastern Heilongjiang province and the Shengli oilfield in eastern Shandong, are depleting, and the country's major producers are counting on new discoveries in the west and in offshore regions in order to replenish their reserves. They are also expecting technological breakthroughs in the fields of exploration and enhanced oil recovery.
New technologies could be employed to discover more oil reserves at existing production bases in Karamay in northwestern China's Xinjiang region and at the Liaohe oilfield in northeastern Liaoning province, the president and chief executive of PetroChina (nyse: PTR - news - people ), Jiang Jiemin said at the Seventeenth Communist Party Congress last month.

A military police company from the California National Guard has been sequestered pending an investigation into whether troops took donations intended for Southern California wildfire victims, Guard officials said.
Some soldiers who were offered a shower and a snack by volunteers ended up taking away cartons of snacks and diapers, according to an official close to the investigation who spoke on condition of anonymity because the official was not authorized to speak on the record.
Thirty-six soldiers from the 330th Military Police Company were being bused from the National City Armory near San Diego to their home base in Ontario, east of Los Angeles. National Guard officials said they were expected to be released Monday night.
One Guardsman had already been relieved of duty pending the outcome of the investigation. Guard officials said they had not decided whether to seek any punishment.
The Guard launched the investigation last week after volunteers called the San Diego County Sheriff's Department to report Guardsmen taking supplies intended for displaced fire victims near the U.S.-Mexico border.
Guard spokesman Lt. Col. Jon Siepmann confirmed that the Guard was investigating complaints that soldiers "were in possession of relief supplies beyond those they were authorized to use as part of their mission."
All the supplies have been identified and returned to the relief agency, Siepmann said in a statement.
"The California National Guard takes all allegations of improper conduct seriously and will take action, to include disciplinary measures, against any soldiers who may have acted inappropriately," Siepmann said.

A thousand Orthodox rabbis are sending an emissary to Atlanta to pray for rain.
Rabbi Yehuda Levin will perform an ancient prayer ritual Wednesday seeking divine help to end the drought in the South, the Christian Newswire reported. Levin reportedly performed the ritual in 1986, after which there was four days of rain.
"Orthodox Jews wish to show solidarity with those suffering from the drought and other natural disasters," said Levin. "We want to kick off a nationwide movement of prayer. Furthermore, we wish to announce a program which we believe could curtail much of the disaster our country has been experiencing."

A U.S. House of Representatives resolution is trying to curtail Iranian influence in Latin America.
The resolution, which passed Tuesday, calls on the Bush administration to engage Latin American governments in joint counterterrorism activities.

Its passage comes as Interpol’s General Assembly is meeting to decide whether to uphold arrest warrants for five Iranians and a Lebanese who are believed to be responsible for the bombing of a Jewish community center in Argentina in 1994.

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has built ties with Latin American leaders in recent years, forged relationships with Bolivia and Venezuela, initiated direct flights from Caracas to Tehran and signed agreements with South American governments worth billions of dollars. Iran also plays a direct role in supporting the Venezuelan oil industry.

“Iran’s intention is clear -- they are seeking to do in Venezuela what the former Soviet Union did in Cuba: establish a base of operations in the Western Hemisphere that will destabilize the balance of power,” said Rep. Connie Mack (R-Fla.), a co-sponsor of the bill with Rep. Ron Klein (D-Fla.). “Ahmadinejad’s words and actions, and those of his close friend Hugo Chavez, undermine the foundations of freedom and democracy in Latin America.”

Angela Merkel told German Jewish leaders her government is ready for tougher sanctions against Iran.
The German chancellor, who received the Jewish community's Leo Baeck Prize Tuesday in Berlin, called the award an honor and a reminder of her responsibilities as chancellor.
Her three main tasks, Merkel said, were to combat xenophobia and anti-Semitism in Germany and abroad; to work with the Jewish community to support the growth of Jewish life in Germany; and to stand up for Israel's right to exist within secure boundaries.
"I am aware that given the particular threat to Israel of an Iranian nuclear program, these words [of support] must not be empty words," she said. "They have to be followed by deeds, and my government is following its words with deeds."

Better than rocket science

A brilliant German invented the digital computer but the Nazis never realised its potential.


IT'S a little-known fact that a German invented the first digital computer, back in 1941. It was the brainchild of a Berliner called Konrad Zuse.

It was called the Z3 (an improvement on his earlier Z1 and Z2 machines, which were not real computers). The Z3 used relays rather than vacuum tubes but it was a true binary programmable computer, designed to use the world's first programming language, which Zuse called Plankalkul.

Unfortunately for Zuse, and fortunately for the world, his machines were not regarded as useful by the Nazis. They used instead IBM punch-card machines to store and sort the census data, much of it racially based that made the Holocaust so murderously effective.

The history of IBM's co-operation with the Nazi regime is explained in chilling detail in Edwin Black's book, IBM and the Holocaust. In that book, Black examines how IBM kept operating in Germany and occupied Europe during World War II.

It used an intricate system of front companies and middlemen. IBM founder Thomas J. Watson was an apologist for Hitler, and had no qualms about making money from both sides during the war. His guiding aim was to ensure IBM would be in a dominant position after the war, whoever won.

The IBM machines were used for record-keeping. Zuse's machines, to the contrary, were optimised for calculating, but he never received much support from the Nazi government, and the only copy of his machine was destroyed in an allied air raid in 1945. A reproduction exists in the Deutsches Museum in Munich, in one of the world's greatest collections of technology.

Zuse went on to become the father of the German computer industry, selling his company to Siemens in 1967 after making hundreds of computers for companies and government agencies all over Germany. His Z22 was the first computer to use magnetic memory, in 1955.

Back in the war years, incredibly detailed calculations were performed manually, or with the aid of mechanical calculators. The demands of such mathematically intensive subjects as ballistics, rocketry and aircraft design called for hundreds of people to do detailed calculations. Most of these people were young women, especially chosen for their mathematical aptitude. They were called "computers".

It is difficult today to appreciate the sheer volume of calculations necessary to develop things like the atomic bomb and the first long-range rockets. The German rocket base at Peenemunde, on the windswept Baltic coast north of Berlin, could never find enough people to do the work.

But Werner von Braun and his team of rocket scientists never knew of Zuse's work. It wasn't until comparatively late in the war that Hitler deemed rocketry to be strategically important, and it doesn't seem to have occurred to anyone to put Zuse's machines to work on the Vergeltungswaffen (vengeance weapons) that Germany was developing.

After winning the war, the Allies recruited or simply kidnapped the cream of Germany's rocket scientists. The Americans snared von Braun, who became the head of the program that put man on the moon in 1969.

The Peenemunde facility still exists today. It houses a large museum of the history of rocketry, the grounds strewn with old Russian fighter jets and, tucked away in a corner, a V1 and a V2 rocket. The Germans have done a pretty good job of coming to terms with the history, and much of the display at Peenemunde is taken up with the story of the tens of thousands of slave labourers the Nazis used to help build these early weapons of mass destruction.

The Germans were also the first to discover nuclear fission, in 1938. They weren't able to build the bomb, but it was largely Werner Heisenberg's seminal work that paved the way for the US Manhattan Project.

So, it was German scientists that developed the first computers, the first ballistic missiles, and the first proof of the feasibility of atomic weapons. That they did not take full advantage of these technologies during Hitler's criminal regime is something for which the world can be eternally grateful.

But it was a close run thing.

They had come from far and wide to protest what they believed was unfair treatment of six young black men: criminal charges stemming from a vicious six-on-one assault that left a young White youth temporarily hospitalized. Their justification was simple: they had found nooses hung in a tree they had previously asked permission to sit under, a tree that for years had been a popular sitting spot for White students. A tree that, in the never-ending quest to stamp out racism, had been cut down as if doing so would magically end the conflict.
Looking over the Jena 6 incident, I am saddened most not by what I do see, but what I don’t see; White counter-protests. For hours on Thursday, September 20th, Jena was subjected to a barrage of anti-White rhetoric. Prominent black speakers such as Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson found no fault in degrading our American justice system, going as far as to liken it to a system of slavery. Through the whole day, not one counter-protest was to be seen anywhere.
And it’s not a new burden for the White race. The march in New Orleans to protest the way in which the federal government managed Hurricane Katrina went off without any opposition from the White community. When blacks riot and loot, not just in a Katrina-type situation, but in general, Whites tend to look the other way. When we do take notice, such as during New Orleans in 2005, we are immediately branded with such favorites as “racist”, “bigot”, “intolerant”, and “Nazi/Klansman”. Whites have a fear of being called “racist” that easily trumps any phobia in existence.
When looked at in the grand scheme of things, we will come to realize we really have nobody to blame but ourselves. We have stood back and covered our eyes to the double-standards and our ears to the cries and pleas of our White family. We have become so complacent in our lives that if a bus of Whites and a bus of blacks caught fire at once, the average citizen wouldn’t dream of rescuing his own kind first, lest he be branded a racist for the rest of his life. So what do we choose as our alternative to this verbal death sentence? We push our own people, our own blood to the background in favor of serving the interests of foreign races.
It was once said, “All it takes for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing”. It is a saddening sentence to have to utter in this glorious generation of advancement, however the facts stand as in stone: the White race as a whole has turned its back on itself. We have turned our heads as our fathers, mothers, sons, daughters, brothers and sisters are victimized before our very eyes. We have shut out the voices of thousands of victims of interracial crime who will never know justice because, in our never-ending facade of multiculturalism and equality, their pleas have not fallen on our ears and hearts.
The most saddening part of all of this is that we have allowed ourselves, we Whites, we Aryans, to become paralyzed in fear of a mere word, just as the rat becomes paralyzed by the serpents hiss. Our race which has produced the greatest warriors, politicians, inventors, scientists, athletes and philsophers now reduced to mere servants, cowering under our masters’ orders, all regard and respect for oneself gone.
It is far past time that we cease this charade of incompetence and stand, mighty and united, as One. The time is now for us to loose our chains of bondage to our agitators, to throw our heads to the heavens and cry, “Enough!”. Our younger generations, our children, our future will be the ones to suffer if we fail in this our most sacred of missions. It is them who will never know freedom because it was us who failed in our charge to preserve it.
What man among our race could turn his eyes from his children, knowing that because of his lack of will, his lack of spine, that child is doomed to a lifetime of servitude; slaves to our own language? Is there truly no more honour among us that we would live our lives content to eat of the scraps of our own table? We who have crossed the oceans, chartered the government of the world’s most powerful country, built magnificent cities and explored the untold magnitudes of our Earth and sky, have we finally achieved the self-suicide that all other races know to thumb their noses at?
Like Nero during the burning of Rome, we are fiddling our lives away as our own great creations fall down around us. It is the deepest prayer of all who put our Folk first that we can shake off our complacency, that cancer that eats away at us all, and become true and proud White activists. Just as the heart forms the center of our bodies, activism forms the center of our movement, a center that must be preserved lest our efforts, and the efforts of our fathers and forefathers be in vain. The opportunity is here, our numbers are here. Fail not! For if we do, we and those after us will have only us to blame.

Acting on tips about preachers who ride in Rolls Royces and have purportedly paid $30,000 for a conference table, the top Republican on the Senate Finance Committee said Tuesday he's investigating the finances of six well-known TV ministers.
Sen. Chuck Grassley of Iowa said those under scrutiny include faith healer Benny Hinn, Georgia megachurch pastor Creflo Dollar and one of the nation's best known female preachers, Joyce Meyer.
Grassley sent letters to the half-dozen Christian media ministries earlier this week requesting answers by Dec. 6 about their expenses, executive compensation and amenities, including use of fancy cars and private jets.
In a statement, Grassley said he was acting on complaints from the public and news coverage of the organizations.
"The allegations involve governing boards that aren't independent and allow generous salaries and housing allowances and amenities such as private jets and Rolls Royces," Grassley said.
"I don't want to conclude that there's a problem, but I have an obligation to donors and the taxpayers to find out more. People who donated should have their money spent as intended and in adherence with the tax code."
Those ministries that responded Tuesday either said they were cooperating or committed to financial transparency and following the law.
The investigation promises to shine new light on the kind of TV ministries that were crippled by sex and money scandals in the 1980s. Experts also say it stands out as an unusual case of the government probing the inner workings of religious organizations.
Most of those under investigation preach a variation of the "prosperity gospel," the teaching that God will shower faithful followers with material riches.
Grassley's letters went to:
_ Kenneth and Gloria Copeland of Kenneth Copeland Ministries of Newark, Texas, a $20 million organization and prosperity gospel pioneer. Questions were raised about the transfer of church assets to a for-profit company, Security Patrol Inc., a $1 million loan from Gloria Copeland to the group, and a "personal gift" of more than $2 million given to Kenneth Copeland to mark the ministry's 40th anniversary.
A Copeland spokeswoman released a statement saying the ministry is working on a response to Grassley's letter, follows all laws and best practices governing churches and religious nonprofit groups, and "will continue to do so."
_ Creflo and Taffi Dollar of World Changers Church International and Creflo Dollar Ministries of College Park, Ga. Grassley's letter asks for records on private planes, board makeup, compensation and donations and "love offerings" to visiting ministers. In a statement, Dollar called his ministry an "open book" and said he would cooperate. He also questioned whether the investigation could "affect the privacy of every community church in America."
_ Benny Hinn of World Healing Center Church Inc. and Benny Hinn Ministries of Grapevine, Texas, is asked about use of a private jet, a home in Dana Point, Calif. and "layover trips" while traveling on ministry business. Hinn did not respond to requests for comment.
_ Bishop Eddie Long of New Birth Missionary Baptist Church and Bishop Eddie Long Ministries of Lithonia, Ga., was questioned about his salary, a $1.4 million real estate transaction and whether he, and not the board, holds sole authority over the organization. Long plans to fully comply with the Senate's request, and his church has "several safeguards" to ensure transactions comply with laws governing churches, according to a statement from Long's spokesman.
_ Joyce and David Meyer of Joyce Meyer Ministries of Fenton, Mo., who were quizzed about receiving donations of money and jewelry and the handling of cash from overseas crusades. They also were asked about expenditures at ministry headquarters, including a $30,000 conference table and a $23,000 "commode with marble top."
The ministry's lawyer released a statement describing the ministry's work and public release of several years' worth of audits. He also said the IRS found in October that the group continues to qualify for tax-exempt status.
_ Randy and Paula White of the multiracial Without Walls International Church and Paula White Ministries of Tampa, Fla. are asked about home purchases in San Antonio, Texas, Malibu, Calif., and New York, credit card charges for clothing and cosmetic surgery and the reported purchase of a Bentley convertible as a gift for Bishop T.D. Jakes, a prominent Texas preacher and televangelist. An e-mail to a spokeswoman for Jakes was not immediately returned.
In a statement, Randy and Paula White declined to comment on specifics, saying they needed time to review the letter with their lawyers. But the Whites called the Grassley letter "unusual, since the IRS has separate powers to investigate religious organizations if they think it's necessary."
Hinn, Kenneth Copeland and Creflo Dollar all sit on the board of regents for Oral Roberts University, which is mired in a financial scandal of its own.
The Senate Finance Committee has chided secular nonprofits for governance and compensation problems in the past, but this level of scrutiny for what are basically "non-pulpit churches" is unprecedented, said Ken Behr, president of the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability.
Because the groups have tax status as churches, they are not required to file tax forms open to public inspection.

I just want to make the point that I hope people understand that email of any kind IS NOT SECURE! Nobody should ever be sending any emails whose content they would regret being read out loud in a court of law. I don't know the exact amount of time each service retains emails on their servers. Whether one is 30 days and another is only 10 or 14 days should make little difference to any serious Lone Wolf. Email can travel through multiple servers each with a different policy on how long it is retained. Yahoo might only   have say a 10 day policy but your email might very well have traveled through someones else's server on on its way to the recipient that might store copies indefinitely and you would never know. The bottom line is if it wasn't sent from your computer already encrypted when it left then anybody along the travel path can have a copy and read it. In addition if you are already a suspect law enforcement can be monitoring everything going to and from your computer right from your ISP without you ever knowing. If you wouldn't want it read in court then don't write it in an email!

of different sites and people all over the net. Sometimes they reach an ear that listens and sometimes they don't. But if I don't try I'm as guilty as the rest of them.
I also resist in other, far more physical ways that won't be discussed.
But I'm only one person. I can only make a small dent in the monster's armor.
But combined with the efforts of many others my dent becomes a major wound
that affects the progress of their agendas.
One of the most important things we can do in the fight is to recruit others.
This is vital beyond words. So even if you can't physically battle our enemies at the moment, there's no reason you can't do battle in another way, by adding to our numbers. Personally I never miss a chance to pull others into the struggle.

Gunman believed he was natural selector

HOLED up in Jokela High School with eight victims lying dead nearby and the police closing in, Finland's teenage gunman prepared to leave behind the "miserable, arrogant and selfish human race".

Pointing his .22 caliber pistol at his head, he pulled the trigger, no doubt intending his fanatical views to live on via the internet.

In cyberspace, a young man with short blond hair calling himself Sturmgeist89 - presumed to be the school gunman - had spent the past few weeks broadcasting an extremist world view, weaving together far-left and neo-Nazi strands.

Together it formed what he called the "Manifesto of a Natural Selector".

"I cannot say that I am of the same race as this miserable, arrogant and selfish human race. No! I have evolved a step higher," he wrote in a blog.

In his account on the video-sharing website YouTube, which he accessed for the last time just hours before the shooting, Sturmgeist89 wrote he was "prepared to fight and die for my cause".

"I, as a natural selector, will eliminate all who I see unfit, disgraces of human race and failures of natural selection."

The police chief, Matti Tohkanen, said the gunman, identified as Pekka-Eric Auvinen, was "from an ordinary family", belonged to a gun club and got a licence for his pistol two weeks ago.

But a teacher at the school said Auvinen had become increasingly radical in recent months, developing a fascination with Nazi and Stalinist ideologies.

Sturmgeist89's final YouTube film left little doubt as to his intentions. "Jokela High School Massacre - 11/7/2007" is steeped in red as he poses with a gun, the camera zooms in on a school and heavy metal music plays.

Personal assistant arrested in Linda Stein murder case

The four are:Olmert's purchase of a luxury apartment on Cremeiux St. in Jerusalem at a discount of at least $330,000, allegedly in exchange for his influence in the Jerusalem municipality on behalf of the contractor; Olmert's alleged intervention on behalf of two friends during the government's privatization of Bank Leumi; Political appointments by Olmert in the Small Businesses Authority; The Investment Center case, for which State Comptroller Micha Lindenstrauss has recommended that Olmert be indicted for his intervention in a case involving his friend, former partner and current lawyer Uri Messer. Olmert was questioned under caution by police investigators for four hours in early October regarding the Bank Leumi case. Attorney General Menachem Mazuz reviewed the material in the cases and concluded that there was sufficient suspicion to order a police investigation in each.

Jewish and Muslim clergy gathered for the first American summit of rabbis and imams.

Organized by the Foundation for Ethnic Understanding, the summit Wednesday in New York brought together a hand-picked group of some 25 rabbis and imams from major cities across the country.

Sessions explored commonalities between Jewish and Muslim approaches to ritual and texts. Workshops were intended to promote cooperation between synagogues and mosques on issues of mutual concern.
The summit concluded with a dinner hosted by the World Jewish Congress and attended by its president, Ronald Lauder.

Congressional negotiators agreed to hike funding for missile defense development with Israel.

Appropriators from the U.S. House of Representatives and the Senate agreed Wednesday on a defense appropriations package that includes $155 million for missile defense cooperation with Israel.

That's $17 million more than last year's appropriation and $75 million more than President Bush requested. Both houses are expected to approve the bill in the coming weeks, with Bush expected to sign the measure before Thanksgiving.

The package includes $98 million for Israel's Arrow missile interceptor program; $37 million for the development of a short-range interceptor, a program launched in part because of Hezbollah's bombardment of northern Israel during the Lebanese terrorist group's war with Israel in the summer of 2006; and $20 million to develop a high altitude missile defense.
It is aimed principally at enhancing Israel's missile defense capability

Environmental extremists, notable politicians among them, then teamed up with movie, media and other liberal, environmentalist journalists to create this wild "scientific" scenario of the civilization threatening environmental consequences from Global Warming unless we adhere to their radical agenda. Now their ridiculous manipulated science has been accepted as fact and become a cornerstone issue for CNN, CBS, NBC, the Democratic Political Party, the Governor of California, school teachers and, in many cases, well informed but very gullible environmental conscientious citizens. Only one reporter at ABC has been allowed to counter the Global Warming frenzy with one 15 minutes documentary segment.

I have read dozens of scientific papers. I have talked with numerous scientists. I have studied. I have thought about it. I know I am correct. There is no run away climate change. The impact of humans on climate is not catastrophic. Our planet is not in peril. I am incensed by the incredible media glamour, the politically correct silliness and rude dismissal of counter arguments by the high priest of Global Warming.

In time, a decade or two, the outrageous scam will be obvious.
