The Rev. Al Sharpton's finances are target of a

Teams of federal agents swooped down on up to 10 close associates of the Rev.
Al
Sharpton Wednesday, demanding the flamboyant
clergyman's financial records since
2001.
Sharpton's former chief of staff said he was roused
at his Harlem home about
6:30 a.m. by two FBI agents who handed him a subpoena to bring the records to a
federal grand jury the day after Christmas.
Several employees of Sharpton's National Action
Network also got wakeup
subpoenas to testify before the Brooklyn panel, the rabble-rousing reverend's
lawyer said.
The FBI and IRS are investigating whether Sharpton
improperly misstated the
amount of money he raised during his 2004 White House run to illegally obtain
federal matching funds, a source familiar with the probe said.
Sharpton, although forced to return $100,000 in
matching taxpayer funds after an
investigation two years ago, denied any wrongdoing at the time.
The feds are also looking into allegations of tax fraud, including whether
Sharpton commingled funds from his nonprofit National
Action Network

Lawyer Michael Hardy shrugged off the probe, which sought a vast array of
business, political and personal records, as a federal fishing expedition.

At 54, Norman Finkelstein is pretty much back where he started. This summer,
the leftist scholar—who made a name for himself in 2000 with his book The
Holocaust Industry, in which he called Jewish leaders a “repellent gang of
plutocrats, hoodlums, and hucksters” intent on extorting war reparations from
European governments—lost his job as assistant professor of political science
at DePaul University. Fortunately, he kept the lease on his late father’s
threadbare rent-stabilized apartment, on Ocean Parkway, and there he’s
retreated.
“It’s like death,” Finkelstein says. “You keep saying you’re going to die, but
you never really come to grips with it. And I can see I’m not going to get
another job. I haven’t yet fully absorbed it.”
His days are now spent in solitary scholarly pursuits; his bookshelves buckle
under the weight of tomes by Marx, Lenin, and Trotsky. Notes of support from
his students sit on a piano; there’s a photo of him and Noam Chomsky (“my
closest friend”) bare-chested on the beach at Cape Cod.
He was a Maoist revolutionary in his youth. By his own account, his academic
career was bedeviled from the start by his politics: It took him thirteen years

recommended him for tenure. But the university’s promotion-and-tenure board
voted 4-3 against him, and DePaul’s president refused to overturn the decision.
Afterward, Finkelstein says, he lost seventeen pounds. “People saw me wasting
away,” he says. A student group held a hunger strike; Chomsky and others
defended him. One of his colleagues made him a mix CD with tracks like “I Will
Survive” and “What’s Goin’ On?” “I’m an old fan of
the Negro spirituals,” Finkelstein says. “I was going around singing to myself,
‘Were you there when they crucified my Lord? Were you there?’ That’s how I
felt. I was being crucified by the end.”
The son of survivors of the Warsaw ghetto and Nazi death camps, Finkelstein was
raised in Borough Park and later Mill Basin, where he attended high school a few
years behind Chuck Schumer. His parents became atheists after the war.

Here is my idea on what I would do with a million dollars. First I would construct
a first rate, state of the art, audio/video recording studio. Then I would
combine that with some top rate computer servers with their own high speed
dedicated Internet connection. Then I would get some commercial cd/dvd mass duplicating machines
& a top rate desktop publishing setup. Also some portable
professional level video equipment.
In the recording studio things such as Internet radio shows, educational cd's/dvd's, books on cd's and even public access TV shows could be recorded
professionally. Then those recordings could be mass produced as a professional
product on the duplicating machines and distributed. The computer servers would
allow us to offer web hosting/file storage to like minded people and groups
without any fear of censorship because we would own the hosting company. We
would then insure ourselves a permanent place on the Internet. The portable
video equipment could be used for such things as producing documentaries and
even shooting news footage. Could you imagine a streamed Internet evening news
show direct from our own servers with volunteer news crews in the large cities
ex. NY, LA, Chicago, Dallas etc. shooting video and then uploading to our
servers? How about some crews showing up in Washington DC and trying to get
comments from congressmen ala Michael Moore? Now wouldn't that be funny?
"But Senator we need a comment for the White is right news hour" Can
you just see'em running for cover? How about showing
up at large corporate headquarters to interview CEO's? It would make for some
real funny stuff. Anyway that's what I would do.

a few years back myself and assoc took a trip to Ireland . We were on a
bus to Galway when I noticed out the window gooks and a few niggers in this
small town of Athlone . When the bus stopped I noticed this middle age

his young daughter ( light red head Celtic looks ) I began a conversation with
this man about the non white invasion into Ireland , he told me that they

I felt sorry for this man and his daughter that would be a future generation holder.
I honestly see the innocence in these folks , they

Neo-Nazis and their opponents from the community mingled peacefully at Sunday
night's white supremacist rally while police stood watch outside the McClelland
Arts Center.
"You guys are wasting your time," a man with a shaved head told
Longview police officers lined up in the cold. "I thought it would be more
spectacular, but this is Longview."
Roughly 30 skinheads and others affiliated with the Aryan Nations attended the
three-hour event, which featured speakers, a Viking-mythology-themed poetry
reading, free literature, punk music and a screening of a video about the
"myth of 9/11."
In the back of the room, men and teenage boys with shaved heads, suspenders and
combat boots clustered with heavily made-up young women, drinking pop and
eating potato chips. Above them hung Nazi flags emblazoned with swastikas,
Aryan Nations flags, Confederate flags, and flags of northern European
countries.
About 20 people from the community -- many of whom had attended Sunday
afternoon's diversity march and picnic -- sat in chairs in front of the podium,
quietly observing the proceedings. In the corner, Longview Police Chief Alex
Perez kept vigil.
The two groups remained respectful and polite, neither avoiding nor confronting
each other. At times, it was difficult to tell which side people were
affiliated with.
Zach Beck, the Longview resident who'd rented the building for the
Aryan-Nations-affiliated group "Church of Jesus Christ--Christian,"
did not make an appearance. Police said they would arrest him if he showed up.
An arrest warrant recently was issued for 28-year-old Beck, who was arrested in
June for cocaine possession, because he missed his court dates in late

SYDNEY, Australia (AP) -- Australia's federal
government said Wednesday it may take control of
Aboriginal reservations, only recently given
quasi-independent status, in response to rampant child
sexual abuse by their young "men". New Prime Minister
Kevin Rudd said he was "disgusted and appalled" by the
latest reports, where an official investigation
concluded child sex abuse was rife because of neglect
and the effects of what it called "rivers of grog".
On Tuesday, federal officials conceded that
Australia's welfare system failed a girl who was
removed from a remote Aboriginal community after being
sexually abused at age 7, then gang raped at age 10
when she was returned to live in the town. Nine males,
aged 12-26, who pleaded guilty to the second rape were
paroled or had their sentences suspended by a judge
who said the victim had probably consented to having
sex with them.
Australia's original inhabitants are a minority of
about 400,000 in a population of 21 million, with a
life expectancy 17 years shorter than any other group.
Transcripts released by Queensland officials on
Tuesday show that prosecutor Steve Carter told the
court the girl could not legally have consulted to sex
because of her age. But he added "it was a form of
childish (savage nigger animal) sex experimentation,
one child being prevailed upon by others mentally no
more advanced...I can't say it was consensual in the
legal sense but...in the general sense, the non-legal
sense, yes, it was".
Both the "victim" and the "rapists" had earlier been

Often, on your shows, you refer to education and educated people and get
educated. I was curious about what exactly you mean by education. Are you
talking about institutional education (high school, college, etc.), IQ, or general
knowledge and being well read.
Unfortunately, I dropped out of high
school my senior year when my family and I moved to Indiana. So, by some
people's standards I would be considered
uneducated. But, I do have two years of university under my belt, a GED, a
technical certificate from community
college, 8 years in the army reserve
plus I am very well read. But, since I
do not actually have a high school
diploma (I do have a GED) and since I dont yet have a university degree (I
do have a technical certificate from a
local community college) I would be
considered uneducated by some. I think
that is ridiculous. I personally know
several college grads (University) who
are complete losers!! But, they are
considered educated. Most of the people from
my high school graduating class
(1998) had very poor knowledge of
geography, world events, history, basic
math, and common sense, yet they would
be considered more educated than I am
because they have a high school diploma
instead of a GED. And most of them
are complete losers today!! Many still
think they are teenagers.
Ive noticed that there are more college
graduates in this age than any
other time in history. But, most of the
degrees these people get are in
bullshit subjects like business,
political science, organizational
leadership, etc.
I met a pretty young elementary school teacher the other day with a
masters in Sociology and she could
barley pronounce the word Sociology!!!
Most of the great leaders, makers of history, inventors, etc, were not
"educated" by today's
standards.
Also, with the sorry state of today's institutional learning
establishments
(elementary, middle school, high school,
college) we cannot judge one's level
of education by what pieces of paper are
granted to them by the state
sponsored indoctrination centers.
Personally I think you can get a better education through the library,
internet, and ordering books from amazon and resist.com and national vanguard
books than you can through any modern
school.

Perhaps I wasn't very clear about the term education. There are two
different fields for education. One is simply to be trained in such a way
that you can carry their credentials that get you in to the front door.
In today's world in many cases those credentials are based on a lot of bullshit
but still that's the requirement to get in the front door.
Of course everyone should know that real education is mostly self-taught
through life's experiences, observations and so on. You don't get a
certificate for that kind of education but to be worth much you must have that
type of education also. There is plenty of information available at this
time for anyone to be common sense educated. There is no excuse for
anyone not to have all the basics. People can even really blame it on the
teachers a matter how bad they were. You have to have the individual
desire to learn. In most cases that means to go totally around the educational
system which is primarily a system training program to ensure as much as
possible you become a servant of the state.
There is no excuse for young people not to know or all the states are, where
most countries in the world are located, the names of the oceans and where
they're at, the big lakes,, which is north and which
is south east and west. How to get un lost
without a compass or a cell phone. I have known old dirt farmers that
had more life education than most university graduates. I guess that
about covers it.

them to deliver our freight and do it much cheaper. I bet you wont see a price difference at the store though even though

Morgan Stanley has issued a full recession alert for the US economy, warning of
a sharp slowdown in business investment and a "perfect storm" for
consumers as the housing slump spreads.
In a report "Recession Coming" released today, the bank's US team
said the credit crunch had started to inflict serious damage on US companies.
"Slipping sales and tightening credit are pushing companies into
liquidation mode, especially in motor vehicles," it said.
"Three-month dollar Libor spreads have jumped by 60 to 80 basis points
over the last month. High yield spreads have widened even more significantly.
The absolute cost of borrowing is higher than in June."
"As delinquencies and defaults soar, lenders are tightening credit for
commercial, credit card and auto lending, as well as for all mortgage
borrowers," said the report, written by the bank's chief US economist Dick
Berner. He said the foreclosure rate on residential mortgages
had reached a 19-year high of 5.59pc in the third quarter while the glut of
unsold properties would lead to a 40pc crash in housing construction.
"We think overall housing starts will run below one million units in each
of the next two years -- a level not seen in the history of the modern data
since 1959," he said.
Although the US job market has apparently held up well, an average monthly fall
of 138,000 in the number of self-employed workers over the last quarter
suggests it may now be buckling. "Consumers face what could be a perfect
storm," said Mr Berner.
The partial freeze on subprime mortgage rates announced last week by US
treasury secretary Hank Paulson may help cushion the blow for some banks, but
it could equally backfire by adding a "risk premium" that drives even
more lenders out of the mortgage market.
Like Goldman Sachs, and Lehman Brothers, the bank no longer believes Asia and
Europe will come to the rescue as America slows.
It has slashed its 2008 growth forecast for Japan from 1.9pc to 0.9pc, and
warned that credit stress will weigh heavily on the eurozone.
Mr Berner said US demand is
likely to contract by 1pc each quarter for the first nine months of 2008, but
the picture could be far worse if the Federal Reserve fails to slash rates fast
enough. It is betting on a quarter point cut this week, with three more cuts by
the middle of next year. "We expect the Fed to insure against the worst
outcome," he said.
Morgan Stanley is the first major Wall Street bank to warn that it is may now
be too late to stop a recession, though most have shifted to an ultra-cautious
stance in recent weeks.
The bank at first treated the August crunch as a "mid-cycle
correction", much like the financial storm after Russia's default in 1998.
But the collapse of the US commercial paper market has now continued for
seventeen weeks, suggesting a "fundamental deleveraging of the banking
system."
Mr Berner - known at Morgan
Stanley as the "resident bull"- is one of the most closely watched
analysts on Wall Street. While he began to turn bearish last April as the
credit markets turned nasty, the latest report is written in tones that may is
rattle the fast-diminishing band of optimists.

Americans gave millions of dollars in the past year to veterans charities
designed to help troops wounded in Iraq and Afghanistan, but several of the
groups spent relatively little money on the wounded, according to a leading
watchdog organization and federal tax filings.
Eight veterans charities, including some of the
nation's largest, gave less than a third of the money raised to the causes they
champion, far below the recommended standard, the American Institute of
Philanthropy says in a report. One group passed along 1 cent for every dollar
raised, the report says. Another paid its founder and his wife a combined
$540,000 in compensation and benefits last year, a Washington Post analysis of
tax filings showed.
There are no laws regulating the amount of money charities spend on overhead,
fundraising or giving. But the institute's report suggests that 20 of the 29
military charities studied were managing their resources poorly, paying high
overhead costs and direct-mail fundraising fees and, in some cases, providing
their leaders with six-figure salaries.
The 12 charities rated as failing by the institute -- including the Military
Order of the Purple Heart Service Foundation, the AMVETS National Service
Foundation and the Freedom Alliance -- collected at least $266 million in the
past fiscal year.
"They know how to work the system, and they seem pretty good at not going
over the line, although it is pretty outrageous that so little money is
actually winding up benefiting charities," said Daniel Borochoff,
president and founder of the Chicago-based institute.
The charities' practices have sparked outrage among some members of Congress.
The House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform was scheduled to hold
its first hearing on veterans charities this morning.

IBM Corp.'s expansion in developing countries shows no sign of
relenting. The technology company revealed Friday that it now has 73,000
employees in India, almost a 40 percent leap from last year.
IBM did not provide updated figures for its work force in the U.S., which has
held steady around 125,000 people in recent years.
Nor did IBM project its total head count. It had 355,766 employees worldwide at
the end of 2006.
If the total has risen by the same rate as in 2006,
almost one in five IBM workers now is in India, its second-largest center.
Like many other technology providers, IBM has rushed to take advantage of the
lower labor costs India offers even for highly skilled workers. IBM's base in
India numbered only 9,000 people in 2003, but it was about 53,000 last year.
IBM has been stressing not only the lower expense of working in India but the
potential of the Indian market. IBM executives told visiting Indian journalists
last week that the company expected to see revenue from the Indian market jump
to nearly $1 billion this year, from $700 million in 2006.
Armonk, N.Y.-based IBM is also ramping up in other key developing markets. Its
chairman and chief executive, Sam Palmisano, recently
formed a new organization that will spur IBM's investment in emerging
economies.
The plan is meant to capitalize on the higher growth rates in the so-called
"BRIC" countries of Brazil, Russia, India and China. IBM's revenue
from those countries rose 18 percent in the first three quarters of this year,
even after discounting the benefit of currency fluctuations. IBM's total
employee count in those countries now is nearly 100,000, up from 70,000 a year
ago.
IBM's vice president of financial management, Jesse J. Greene Jr., would not
forecast how much more hiring the company still might do in emerging markets.
However, he said "we see continuing good stability in the BRIC countries
in general and good opportunity for growth in those countries as well."

and Stephen Walt’s The Israel Lobby and American Foreign Policy is a September
incident involving Barack Obama.
His campaign had placed small ads in various spots around the Internet,
designed to drive readers to its website. One turned up on Amazon’s page for
the Walt and Mearsheimer book. A vigilant watchdog at
the New York Sun spotted it and contacted the campaign: Did Obama
support Walt and Mearsheimer?
The answer came within hours. The ad was withdrawn. Its placement was
“unintentional.” The senator, his campaign made clear, understood that key
arguments of the book were “wrong,” but had definitely not read the work

SHANGHAI: China said Saturday that for the 10th time this year it would order
banks to raise the amount of reserves they keep on hand in order to curb
inflation and prevent the economy from overheating.
The central bank said it had ordered banks to increase the reserve ratio by a
full percentage point, to 14.5 percent, in an effort to curb lending. It was
the largest single increase in the reserve ratio in four years.
Analysts said the move showed that Beijing was growing increasingly worried
about growing inflationary pressure and the threat of a meltdown before next
summer, when Beijing is set to hold the Olympic Games.
This year, a fast-growing economy has taken flight, growing by as much as 12
percent with China piling up another year of record trade surpluses with the
rest of the world, particularly the European Union and the United States.
China is under mounting pressure to appreciate its currency, which some
economists say may help ease those trade gaps and better balance the global
economy. But China has largely resisted that pressure, saying it has already
allowed its currency to gradually appreciate, up about 10 percent since 2005.
This coming week, Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson Jr. of the United States is
to be in Beijing for a series of economic talks with China's leaders. He is
expected to press for further currency appreciation and more assurances on food
and product safety following a year of high-profile recalls of toys, seafood,
toothpaste and other products.
But China seems increasingly worried about its domestic economy and the
prospect that soaring food prices, rising wages and a ballooning stock market
could spoil more than two decades of stellar economic growth.
In recent weeks, Chinese stocks have dropped more than 15 percent, but they
stabilized in the past week and regained some ground.
Over the past few years, Chinese stock prices have risen more than 300 percent,
investor frenzy has turned mad and initial public offerings have created more
than 100 new billionaires, at least on paper.
In a report issued today, Hong Liang, an economist at Goldman Sachs, said the
larger-than-usual increase in the reserve ratio should strengthen the
credibility of the central bank but could also hurt share prices.
The government also said in the past week week that
it would offer oil subsidies to some industries to cope with higher fuel prices,
and Beijing has even offered insurance to some pig farmers to help increase
pork supplies amid soaring prices and the toughest inflationary pressure in a
decade.

Britain is to launch a huge expansion of offshore wind-power with plans for
thousands of turbines in the North Sea, Irish Sea and around the coast of
Scotland.
John Hutton, the energy secretary, will this week announce plans to build
enough turbines to generate nearly half Britain’s current electricity
consumption. He will open the whole of Britain’s continental shelf to
development, apart from areas vital for shipping and fishing.
The scheme could see turbines so large that they would reach 850ft into the
sky, nearly 100ft taller than Canary Wharf. Each would be capable of powering
up to 8,000 homes.
Britain’s current range of coal, gas, nuclear and other power stations are
capable of generating 75 gigawatts (GW) of
electricity, but less than 0.5GW comes from wind. Planning consents have been
granted for a further 3GW and the government had already made clear it wanted
this raised to 8GW.
Hutton will announce at an energy conference in Berlin tomorrow that he wants
to see this target raised to 33GW-worth of wind turbines installed in the seas
around Britain by 2020. If energy consumption remains stable this would mean
wind power could supply the electricity needs of every home in Britain.
There would still be a need to keep fossil-fuelled power stations in reserve
because windless days could leave Britain with power shortages.
However, studies at Hutton’s department for business, enterprise and regulatory
reform have shown that the extra cost of maintaining standby power stations
would add little to bills.
Hutton said: “The UK is now the number one location for investment in offshore
wind in the world and next year we will overtake Denmark as the country with
the most offshore wind capacity.
“This could be a major contribution towards meeting the EU’s target of 20% of
energy from renewable sources by 2020.”
Hutton made clear the scale of the plans. The “first round” of offshore wind
farms, in 2001, comprised a few small demonstration projects. The “second
round” in 2003 limited development to the Thames estuary, the Greater Wash and
the northwest.
Under the new proposals, the whole of Britain’s continental shelf would be
opened to development, potentially including the English Channel and much of
the coast of northern Scotland, where winds are most reliable.
It could mean that wind farms would become visible from almost every point of
Britain’s coast. Some developers have made clear that they would like to see a
forest of turbines stretching up the North Sea, whose shallow waters make it
relatively cheap and easy to develop.
Hutton’s plan would be subject to an environmental assessment but it is certain
to amplify the conflicts over wind farms.
So far there have been few objections to Britain’s six offshore wind farms
because they are largely out of sight.
However, the scale of the proposed offshore developments is certain to bring
controversy as they will often be visible from land.
Maria McCaffery, chief executive of the British Wind
Energy Association, welcomed the move. “This expansion will mean that by 2015
the UK’s offshore market will be twice the size of any other national offshore
wind market.”

appallingly inhuman and racist ways by the racialist and intolerant Amhara and Tigray soldiers and
settlers for over 100 years. Under Abyssinia’s present pseudo-republican
regime, the Anuak have been included along with the Nuer in the south-westernmost province of Gambella that is named after the Anuak

WASHINGTON — The three main minorities in the United States —
blacks, Hispanics and Asians — have little trust for each other and
hold prejudiced views about Americans of different ethnic origins
to their own, a poll showed Wednesday.
"This extraordinary poll reveals some unflattering realities that exist
in America today," said Sandy Close, head of new America Media
(NAM) which sponsored the poll together with ethnic media groups.
Forty-four percent of Hispanics and 47 percent of Asians are "afraid
of African-Americans because they are responsible for most of the
crime," the survey of 1,105 adults drawn from the three ethnic
groups showed.
More than half of black Americans polled and 46 percent of Hispanics
said Asian business owners do not treat them with respect.
And half of African-Americans said Latin American immigrants "are
taking jobs, housing and political power away from the black
community."
Hispanics and Asians, whose populations are made up mainly of
immigrants, were positive about the American dream, saying that
those who work hard in the United States reap the rewards of
their toil.
White Americans viewed more favorably
In contrast, more than 60 percent of African-Americans
dismissed
the American dream as not working for them.
All three ethnic groups viewed white Americans in a more favorable
light than they did members of another minority.
Sixty-one percent of Hispanics, 54 percent of Asians and 47 percent
of African-Americans said they would rather do business with whites
than members of the other two groups.
"The poll reaffirms that while race relations between ethnic groups
and whites grab the headlines, there are also serious racial problems
between minority groups in America," said Sergio Bendixen,
an expert
on Hispanic and multilingual polling.
"Blacks feel they are left out of the American Dream and are being
displaced by newcomers, and each group buys into the negative
stereotypes about the other two," he said.
The three minority groups did agree that the United States would be
a better place if blacks, Asians and Hispanics held more authoritative
positions at universities, in business, media and government.
They also said they believe racial tensions in the United States will
ease over the next 10 years.

Here's a particularly forlorn historical date: Almost 90 years ago, between the
19th and 20th of December 1917, in the midst of the Bolshevik revolution and
civil war, Lenin signed a decree calling for the establishment of The
All-Russian Extraordinary Commission for Combating Counter-Revolution and
Sabotage, also known as Cheka.
Within a short period of time, Cheka became the largest
and cruelest state security organization. Its organizational structure was
changed every few years, as were its names: From Cheka
to GPU, later to NKVD, and later to KGB.
We cannot know with certainty the number of deaths Cheka
was responsible for in its various manifestations, but the number is surely at
least 20 million, including victims of the forced collectivization, the hunger,
large purges, expulsions, banishments, executions, and mass death at Gulags.
Whole population strata were eliminated: Independent farmers, ethnic
minorities, members of the bourgeoisie, senior officers, intellectuals,
artists, labor movement activists, "opposition members" who were
defined completely randomly, and countless members of the Communist party itself.
In his new, highly praised book "The War of the World, "Historian
Niall Ferguson writes that no revolution in the history of mankind devoured its
children with the same unrestrained appetite as did the Soviet revolution. In
his book on the Stalinist purges, Tel Aviv University's Dr. Igal
Halfin writes that Stalinist violence was unique in
that it was directed internally.
Lenin, Stalin, and their successors could not have carried out their deeds
without wide-scale cooperation of disciplined "terror officials,"
cruel interrogators, snitches, executioners, guards, judges, perverts, and many
bleeding hearts who were members of the progressive Western Left and were
deceived by the Soviet regime of horror and even provided it with a kosher
certificate.
All these things are well-known to some extent or another, even though the
former Soviet Union's archives have not yet been fully opened to the public.
But who knows about this? Within Russia itself, very few people have been
brought to justice for their crimes in the NKVD's and KGB's service. The
Russian public discourse today completely ignores the question of "How
could it have happened to us?" As opposed to Eastern European nations, the
Russians did not settle the score with their Stalinist past.
And us, the Jews? An Israeli student finishes high
school without ever hearing the name "Genrikh Yagoda," the greatest Jewish murderer of the 20th
Century, the GPU's deputy commander and the founder and commander of the NKVD. Yagoda diligently implemented Stalin's collectivization
orders and is responsible for the deaths of at least 10 million people. His
Jewish deputies established and managed the Gulag system. After Stalin no
longer viewed him favorably, Yagoda was demoted and
executed, and was replaced as chief hangman in 1936 by Yezhov,
the "bloodthirsty dwarf."
Yezhov was not Jewish but was blessed with an active
Jewish wife. In his Book "Stalin: Court of the Red Star", Jewish
historian Sebag Montefiore
writes that during the darkest period of terror, when the Communist killing
machine worked in full force, Stalin was surrounded by beautiful, young Jewish
women.
Stalin's close associates and loyalists included member of the Central
Committee and Politburo Lazar Kaganovich. Montefiore characterizes him as the "first
Stalinist" and adds that those starving to death in Ukraine, an
unparalleled tragedy in the history of human kind aside from the Nazi horrors
and Mao's terror in China, did not move Kaganovich.
Many Jews sold their soul to the devil of the Communist revolution and have
blood on their hands for eternity. We'll mention just one more: Leonid Reichman, head of the NKVD's special department and the
organization's chief interrogator, who was a particularly cruel sadist.
In 1934, according to published statistics, 38.5 percent of those holding the
most senior posts in the Soviet security apparatuses were of Jewish origin.
They too, of course, were gradually eliminated in the next purges. In a
fascinating lecture at a Tel Aviv University convention this week, Dr. Halfin described the waves of soviet terror as a
"carnival of mass murder," "fantasy of purges", and "essianism of evil." Turns out that Jews too, when they
become captivated by messianic ideology, can become great murderers, among the
greatest known by modern history.
The Jews active in official communist terror apparatuses (In the Soviet Union
and abroad) and who at times led them, did not do this, obviously, as Jews, but
rather, as Stalinists, communists, and "Soviet people." Therefore, we
find it easy to ignore their origin and "play dumb": What do we have
to do with them? But let's not forget them. My own view is different. I find it
unacceptable that a person will be considered a member of the Jewish people
when he does great things, but not considered part of our people when he does
amazingly despicable things.
Even if we deny it, we cannot escape the Jewishness
of "our hangmen," who served the Red Terror with loyalty and
dedication from its establishment. After all, others will always remind us of
their origin.

"[The money is]inappropriate and politically immature,"
the group said in a statement that was carried by Western and Iranian news
outlets.
It added Iran's Jewish community has remained loyal to the Islamic Republic and
that their "Jewish Iranian identity is not a commodity that passes from
the hands of one merchant to another in return for money."
The statement addressed an offer by expatriate Iranian Jews offering a sum of
$10,000 to each individual to immigrate to Israel.
