It's a small thing, but it's what hits you when you
hear it for, oh, the 312th time from some source so respected as the BBC:
"Right-wing" has come to be used as a synonym for "icky."
What got me was a radio news report I heard as I was driving the pre-dawn
streets listening to public radio. They pipe BBC news to Milwaukee at that hour,
and there was a BBC reporter in Moscow, reporting on the rise of neo-Nazi
violence -- young people who don't like Uzbeks or other people from old Soviet
possessions. They beat such people up. The reporter referred to this as racist
violence (true enough), and he called the perpetrators neo-***. He also used,
interchangeably, the description, "right wing."
This matters because anyone who isn't left of center or just dead-even in our
simplistic bipolar political taxonomy would be right of center. In a vague way,
the reporter's implying that anyone right of center is kind of in the same
territory as Russian youths who beat up Uzbeks.
Yet the more important point is how the report, like others, conflates
"right-wing" with anything disagreeable. The politician, the reporter
notes, takes as his heroes Stalin and Hitler. Hitler, of course, is regarded as
right wing though the party he headed was the National Socialists and, as is
now being pointed out, built a welfare state to make any socialist proud.
But Stalin? Of course.
Russia's authoritarian boss, Vladimir Putin, regularly harkens back to the
glory days -- of Communist Party rule, when Russia was feared. Stalin on the
wall is a natural for young, violently inclined Russians who yearn for the days
when the Poles and Azeris again know who's in charge.
That's why this racist politician, like many others in Russia, cites Stalin as
a hero.
And Stalin was, most definitely, left-wing. He defined left-wing for a whole
Depression-era generation of American leftists, in fact. Why, then, when young
people beat people up and their modern would-be
political leader cites Stalin as a hero, is this not, say, neo-Communist
violence, or left-wing violence? It's not as if racist violence hasn't regularly been part
of Communism. The world's biggest Communist country, China, still
brutally oppresses minorities -- think Tibet.
I'll tell you why: It's the same reason the New York Times regularly referred,
post-Soviet Union, to the guys seeking a capitalist economy in Russia as
"liberals" and the ones seeking a Marxist restoration as
"conservatives." It's because too many people in my profession, being
left-of-center themselves, reflexively feel the left-right polarity is not
about whether you prefer an unrestrained state or limited government but is
really defined by whether you're nice or brutal.
It's dangerous as well, because it means that the surest way to divert press
attention from collectivist, state-sponsored (or state-tacitly-permitted) thuggery is to proclaim one's government progressively
leftist.
Still, when you have the BBC reporting that idolizing Stalin is a sign of a
right-winger, one must wonder.

I went to an Annie Lenox concert on the SMU campus in Dallas with my girlfriend,
who loves Annie's music. The tickets were her birthday gift. It was a nice
show, a 1st class act until just before the encore. As the band leaves the stage, on comes a big
screen video where Annie Lenox is hug'n--n-kiss'n up to a bunch of Africans. She calls it "Project
S.I.N.G." She's got this captive audience of middle class yuppie types,
along with a few blacks, watching this video on how AIDS is killing of the Africans
and, boy, don'tcha know.... whitey ain't doing enough to help out. So, Annie
as this video she's putting on to
raise awareness about HIV/AIDS, and of course, where you can go to donate to
this cause.
My girl glanced at me after a few minutes of this
guilt-dripping-niger-lov'n
presentation. Our eyes met, and she leans over and says "you want to
leave?" I nod yea, and we get up and walk out. Were the only ones that do. So, I can't tell you what Annie Lenox did for an encore
that evening. While exiting the auditorium, I noticed handbills distributed to
tables by all exits. I picked up a couple and have scanned the two-sided piece
to a pdf for your perusal.
By the way, I'm proud of my girl...she's slowly catching on.
Good current event stories are powerful when the underlying principals they
contain are pointed out.
There is a book called "Horace Saves". In that book, the Jews are
penned up in a desert hell-hole and are partaking in preistcraft...they
are creating a religion of universalism; a religion of equality, yes, they are
creating Christianity. The purpose of the new religion is to prepare the Diaspora
to receive them in due time. The book is a parable, and funny names are used to
represent things you and I know. For example the tribe of
Geniuses are in fact the Jews, and the Gonads are of course
the Romans, and the Leeks are of course the Greeks. The main characters have
names like Baul of Tabasco, the protagonist, and
Enhanced Truth, his associate.
And to get to the point, ah...here it is.... page 90...it reads as

Do you get it? Yea, see how it breaks down? Annie Lenox springs this "moral
climate" upon an unsuspecting audience. She, is a
role model, a demigod, a diva and she announces how important it is to give
these aliens money. Yes they are far away, and yes, the giver will disenfranchise
his children and kin in favor of the aliens in Africa.
What is her real motive? One can only guess. Even so, my mind finds it irresistible
to think that a musician needs multiple venues, good venues, and play time on
the radio. Remember "payolla" - paying to
get your songs played on the radio. Well, she ain't
paying in dollars, but in propaganda. And just who owns all those radio
stations, and all those venues, and all those recording studios and record lables?.................... Yea... the Geniuses.
OOps... sorry Annie, maybe you have a plain case of nigerphilia brought
on by your own white-guilt-trip. A little hasty of me to think it was
just for fame, success, and fortune.
PS. This lone wolf thanks you for the Horace Saves book. It is
one-bad-ass-114-page-big-type-easy-to-read-killer-of-a book! If
I had only had it 10 years ago. I certainly put it in front of Orwell's
1984, or Machevalies "The Prince". It has
more to say, that is more relevant than anything else I can think of.

Rep. Laura Richardson, D-Long Beach, wants Congress
to make the hanging of nooses a crime, at least under certain circumstances.
The effort may be well-intended, but intimidation and hate crimes are already
illegal. And criminalizing mere speech, no matter how odious, violates the
freedom of expression on which American democracy depends.
The resolution Richardson supports reads, "Only when we erase the terrible
symbols of the past can we finally move forward." But society cannot truly
"move forward" by criminalizing hateful symbols, such as the noose,
the swastika or a burning flag.
We only move forward by educating people about tolerance and human dignity, by
changing people's attitudes for the better, and changing hearts and minds.
Trying to make society more just by criminalizing symbols is like trying to
make the tail wag the dog. Governments that go too far in trying to shape human
behavior run the risk of becoming as oppressive as the ideologies they are
trying to stamp out.

the blacks are by far the greatest number). They choke all the streets that
were once very well kept Colonial neighborhoods or white upper class areas,
where the affluent and educated lived and raised their families. Now most of these
places are ghettos, no-man's lands of racism, murders, drugs, prostitution and
decay.
D.C. is in the top five of the national list for being the most violent, most
crime-ridden and now, most AIDS infested city in America. Only the politicians
and all the support services that cater to them actually work for a living(though who can call what they do up there
"work" anyway?). The rest are sponging off the system. The doomsayers
squawk and warn that if D.C. gets taken out by an atomic strike our country
would be leaderless. Personally I think it would probably do our nation a world
of good. In my book, the last good thing to come out of the
Capitol was the repeal of Prohibition. Since then it's been all bad.

racist movie last night called Urban Justice with Steven Seagal...not
sure if you heard of it or saw it, but boy oh boy. Basically, Steven Seagal plays a father who's son

drug trades between a black gang and the police. Steven goes in and masses up a
huge body count of blacks, mestizos, and so

It's getting worse every day.
Once upon a time, when a person was wronged by someone else, the other person
would offer an apology or some means of compensation.
That still goes on, today, don't get me wrong, but I have never been a recipient
of such measures.
You may laugh at what I am about to state, dismiss it as crying by a shiftless
scumbag who is just whining instead of taking charge of his life, but it's
difficult, if not impossible, to take command when a double standard is
established as the norm.
Take Michael Richards, the Jew, or whatever the hell he is, comedian who offered
racial slurs in response to hecklers. From what I understand, he apologized for
the remarks and paid monetary damages.
As for myself, I was called racial slurs when I worked for the City of Raleigh
and harassed on at least one occasion by the local police force.
I never received an apology or compensation, just a pink slip.
If you're wondering, I'm black, but I'm not proud.
I'm not proud to be in a nation that wants to heal its racial wounds by allowing
others to fester. People tell me to put the past behind me, to move on, yet
someone like Don Imus makes a remark about female
athletes, and, even after he apologized, he gets fired.
I'm not proud of being someone who is constantly berated by blacks and whites
and every other color under the sun and is denied the very liberties that other
Americans can take advantage of. Even as I applied for work, a white woman at
an employment agency called me a "kaffir". Like
those black guys who pursued Michael Richards for verbal and monetary
compensation, I attempted a lawsuit as well: I went to attorneys, who, no less,
discouraged my pursuit, claiming that it's difficult to prove racism, and they
never even heard of this k-word. Some country. Some justice.
I'm tired and fed up with the hypocrisy in America. This may be the land of the
free, but it's not the land for me.
