There are several reasons to see the new Civil War movie, "Gods and Generals". 1. First and foremost, I was actually shocked to see, in this day and age, a Civil War movie that was clearly partisan to the South, if not to slavery (what do you expect, anywhose!) 2. Stonewall Jackson is portrayed as a cross between King David and Jesus Christ, even having both of his palms shot through (the second palm is pierced at night so you can't see it, but the first time his palm is pierced, he holds it up to show all the troops the Stigmata. 3. The only time Jackson cries publicly is when he fails to bring a little girl back to life, showing he is perhaps "only" mortal at that moment. 4. The actor chosen to play Jackson has a facial appearance that would make him the best casting for Christ of all time - dark brown hair and beard, thoughtful soft blue eyes. 5. General Lee is portrayed virtually as Jehovah-come-to-earth, who has somehow lost only his ability to predict the future. 6. Hollywood mogul and ostensible leftist Ted Turner has cast himself into a cameo role as a southern officer tapping his feet with glee to John Wilkes Booth entertaining the troops with rebel songs (astonishing!) 7. The only speech against slavery is made by Jeff Daniels (an actor known for playing an imbecile in "Dumb and Dumber" and more recently a serial killer with a kind of gay crush/hard-on for Clint Eastwood in "Blood Simple") to his adjutant (who has to listen) ALONE, and the adjutant evens look doubtful! Daniels is VERY notable in this film for being the ONLY officer never to look his troops in the eye while giving orders, either from the north or south. 8. There is a series of scenes near the end of the film, where the director intercuts back and forth to Confederate riders at Chancellorsville charging several abreast straight at the camera, which is a dead ringer for the same shots and editing at the end of "Birth of a Nation" , where the Klan and ex-confeds ride to the rescue. It is hard to imagine the Director thought no one would notice this. 9. The historical research is impeccable. This is the only film you'll ever see, for example, with the authentically firehouse red-clad northern New York Zoaves. 10. The carcass of the bullet-riddled lion is currently on display at the nature sanctuary here in the capital, Lilongwe, and has been the center of attraction the whole weekend. Harrison Phula, one of the four hunters that successfully stalked the ageing and hungry lion, told journalists on Monday it was not an easy task to overpower the lion. He said it took a total of four bullets to kill the animal but even after stopping the first two bullets in its belly, the beast still charged at the hunters, injuring two of them. "With intestines coming out of its belly the lion lunged at two of us injuring one in the leg and crashing an arm of the other," he said. Jews are a mixture of races. If I see an ugly white person am I to assume they are Jewish. What if they are not ugly, how can one tell. What if they are practicing Christianity. Iran has a powerful military and a super strategic location in regards to Iraq and in regards to access to the Persian gulf itself. The guy that wrote in wasn't joking when he said that the schools in Corpus Christi are heavily populated with mestizo's. I graduated from a high school in Corpus and I can attest to that. The school that Sharpton was to speak at, Miller High School, is almost totally black and Mexican. I would not put the percentage of Whites at that school even at .5%. The majority of Blacks in Corpus go there. Moody high school is almost totally Mexican. There are only a handful of Whites there. Ray high school is predominantly Mexican with quite a few affluent Whites. Corpus Christi Carroll and King are the two high schools with the most Whites. At best they are only 50 percent White and that's fading fast. If you see the elementary schools and junior highs that feed into those schools, you will see a bunch of brown faces. The local Catholic high school is Incarnate Word. It's in the Ray district. If anyone from Corpus or the surrounding area is reading this, your only targets are Ray, King and Carroll (and maybe Incarnate Word) in Corpus Christi. Otherwise you'll be spending your time harassing Muds. Outside of Corpus, like the writer said, Calallen is fairly White. Gregory-Portland high school is somewhat White. In terms of towns, do NOT bother with Gregory, Portland is where almost all of the Whites live. Heading the other direction, you can try to recruit working class people over in Flour Bluff. I met a few racists from that area. Tom, I know that you're against membership organizations but everyone is pretty much unknown to everyone else in Corpus. I'm not sure of many other ways to get people together. I would invariably hear of so-and-so that was a 'bigtime racist' too but the person lost contact with them or didn't know where they lived. Tom, this isn't directly related but it would be tremendously helpful for veterans of the movement like yourself to get together and write a book about recruiting, organizing, security and the like. Our cause seems to be big on talking about the problems but rarely do I ever hear even attempts at solutions. It almost seems as if each person has to try to "re-invent the wheel" and figure out everything for himself. It would be great if we could be given something to work with and then use our own creativity to expand upon that rather than spending countless hours trying to figure out questions that already have answers. As a young high school student I got online and was enthusiastic to find other racialists. I asked people that had been around the block (some decades) how I could best contribute to the cause. The only answer seemed to be 'join an organization' or just 'I don't know'. I'm now in the position where other people can ask me and I can only recount personal experiences and things that I think might help.
