I was coming home to Jew York City on the Greyhound Bus from some fun and frolic on June 2 from Nashville, TN. I met up with a 45 year old White guy who showed me a stab wound in his chest and a small, about 3/4 of an inch, hole in his Harley-Davidson tee-shirt while taking a break off the bus. He said while in Seattle two niggers ran him through with a knife in his chest, through his lung, and out his back. He spent 13 days in the hospital. Too many people have the attitude that if I haven't done anything to another person why should they attack me. Trying to figure out why scum think the way they do is a waste of time. Time that you need to save your life or the life of a friend. Always be armed in some way, if only a small bladed knife. Most victims could have avoided the attack if they traveled the street or path like an animal does. The habit of being absolutely aware of anyone close to you is imperative. Be prepared to give ground on mostoccasions before the plot gets worse. Sometimes there is no escape and one must stand your ground and inflict maximum damage on an aggressor. Headline: Foiled Oly plot, Ogden police say Subhead: Jewish athletes may have been targeted Author: (C) 2002 Deseret News By Pat ReavyDeseret News staff writer OGDEN -- Ogden police revealed Wednesday they foiled a plot by white supremacists to attack Jewish athletes during the 2002 Winter Games. Just days before the Olympics began Feb. 8, investigators in both Salt Lake City and Ogden were looking for two men who were allegedly making pipe bombs intended for "Jewish-related venues" and athletes, said Ogden Police Lt. Loring Draper with the Ogden Weber Gang Unit. In January, an informant told the gang unit that members of a white supremacist group were making pipe bombs to be used on the Jewish contingency at the Olympics, Draper said. Investigators felt the source was credible (lol) and started keeping surveillance on those allegedly involved. Lending further credence to the rumor, gang detectives in Salt Lake City had developed similar information that pipe bombs were going to be delivered from Ogden and stored at a house in Salt Lake, Draper said. "We were pretty convinced it was a valid threat," he said. Investigators said it was unclear whether the alleged plot was specifically targeted against the Israeli Olympic team, which had fewer than 10 members, or all Jewish athletes. The people being watched by detectives were on parole, but investigators did not have solid evidence against them to put them back in prison. Even though detectives were sure a plan was in the works, they did not have any physical evidence. In fact, investigators have never found any of the alleged pipe bombs. "We had nothing on them," Draper said. The big break for police came less than a week before the opening ceremonies when investigators found a man who allegedly had been severely beaten recently by the men under surveillance. With that information, officers were able to arrest a man for parole violation just a few days before the Olympics and the other man two days after the Olympics began, Draper said. The FBI's Olympic Joint Terrorism Task Force was aware of the alleged plot, said supervisory special agent Kevin Eaton. But despite a thorough investigation, "We could never corroborate the fact that pipe bombs existed or that a plot was in place," he said. Agents even went to a place in Davis County where the pipe bombs were allegedly being stored and found nothing, Eaton said. The men being watched were capable of making pipe bombs DUHHH! "So does half the country, and known to be violent, Eaton said. But there was never any evidence to suggest any pipe bombs were actually made," he said. Even though charges for the alleged pipe bomb scheme will never be filed, the gang unit received an award this month at a northern Utah law enforcement awards banquet for defusing a potentially tragic situation and saving an unknown number of lives. Rabbi Frederick L. Wenger of Congregation Kol Ami said a shiver was felt in the Jewish community when they learned of the alleged plot Wednesday. The community already had a security plan in place, and it will be enhanced in light of this information, he said. But even though this is a time of heightened security, "our daily and spiritual lives will go on as they were," Wenger said. Draper said this incident was just the latest in a recent string of increased white supremacist activity in the Ogden area. "There are four main white supremacist groups residing in Ogden, Draper said. All of them have origins in the Utah State Prison or another correctional facility in the state. The white supremacists started becoming more active in the Ogden area last summer as many of them were paroled from prison," he said. "These guys were coming out and wanting to express their views," Draper said. Nationally, Draper said recruitment for Aryan Nation groups has been up since Sept. 11. The first big incident for Ogden police came in late November when detectives learned of a plot to firebomb the house of a racially mixed couple. Members of the white supremacist group wanted to turn their street into a place for white people only. (OH MY!) Since November, Draper said about 15 white supremacists have been arrested in Ogden and sent back to prison, most of them for charges far less dramatic than the police created plot. But over the next few years, Ogden police are expecting hundreds of white supremacists to settle in Weber and Davis counties as hundreds of them are paroled. "They pretty much support Adolph Hitler's theory. More than 500 representatives of federal, state and local law enforcement agencies were briefed on extremist and terrorist threats during a day long conference co-sponsored by the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) and the Federal Bureau of Investigation. The May 31 program, held at the FBI Academy in Quantico, VA, was an outgrowth of ADL's long time involvement in providing information and training to law enforcement on threats posed by extremists. The conference, "Extremist and Terrorist Threats: Protecting America After 9/11" included presentations from ADL, FBI and other nationally recognized experts on extremist groups, investigative techniques, counterterrorism strategies, domestic security and threat assessment. "Now more than ever, law enforcement must have the resources and know-how to prevent future acts of terrorism," said Abraham H. Foxman, ADL National Director. "In order to assess threats against the United States, law enforcement must have credible information about domestic and foreign extremists whose rhetoric promotes violence. Through our network of regional offices and our experts in the field, ADL is uniquely suited to aid in the war against terrorism. This conference was an opportunity for law enforcement and extremism watchdogs to compare notes and forge alliances." The wedding during which the king married his ninth wife, Nontsetselelo Magongo, an 18-year-old girl forced to leave school last year amid protests from human rights and anti-child abuse institutions in Swaziland and abroad, took place on Saturday evening. Royal sources said on Monday that the ceremony was once again conducted by King Mswati's sisters, as well as the wives of his late father, King Sobhuza II, at the Ludzidzini royal residence. While preparing for the march to city hall, 60 Minutes reporter Richard Carleton chatted casually with a KKK member who was painting a "Hail Hittler [sic]" sign with one hand while holding a beer in the other. Recently, I was forced to participate in a two week session of testing (known as the Stanford 9), as were all high school sophomores. When I noticed that all the races were given a "proper, politically correct" title (examples: African-American, Asian-American [Asians even had bubbles to fill in subcultures]! And Native-American, etc.) except for European-Americans, I was infuriated. Not only did it say "White," but it said "White-not of Hispanic origin"! That is an even greater slap in the face. After a complaint to my English teacher, I was promptly sent to the office. When the principal gave me the opportunity to speak, I informed her that I found it offensive and derogatory to be called "White-not of Hispanic origin" especially under the circumstances, and that since it was a school-forced test, that I would like to either omit taking the test or would like for her to express my views in a written form to the CA department of education. Her response (ultimatum, rather) was this: either fill in "Decline to state" (I am proud of my race. I wasn't about to deny my racial origin just because the testmakers are ignorant.) or to be suspended from school (an illegal act, I later discovered, because I had caused no disturbance). Since I didn't know that her threat was illegal at the time, I decided to take the test and write in "European-American" next to "White-not of Hispanic origin" and bubble it in, and to take later action. This petition is my later action-to have the term "White-not of Hispanic origin" changed to "European-American" on all CA State issued standardized tests. I thought it would be best to start off with one state, and hopefully we will one day have it changed in every state (I know, I'm being idealistic). It doesn't matter what we call ourselves among our own people, but officially I believe it to be better to have a proper ethnic label. This may also encourage cultural activity among our people, because people will think of themselves as European instead of as "white." Facing criticism over its Soviet-style actions in the Cape, an Azanian police spokesman was unrepentant. He said that, in their search for Kritzinger, 'there is no time to follow gentleman rules any more'. He also threatened the fugitive's helpers with charges of murder. An angry chairman of the Uniondale rural security organization, Dave Hodgson, said in a statement that the police action infringed on the rights of citizens and had broken down the trust between farmers and the security forces.
