As the second film of the trilogy, The Two Towers, comes out on general release today, a Midland academic has expressed concerns that neo-Nazi groups are interpreting the Birmingham author's epic for their own ends. One Internet website urges "every white nationalist" to watch the films, which it claims promote white supremacy over ethnic minorities living in the West. Dr Stephen Shapiro, an English expert at the University of Warwick, said the adoption of the literary masterpiece by far right groups was worrying. Tolkien lovers also expressed horror that the books were being used to promote extremism. Chris Crawshaw, chairman of The Tolkien Society, urged people not to interpret the trilogy in a far right context. "I am quite shocked and very saddened that The Lord of the Rings is being used by far right groups in this way. "Tolkien himself would be horrified if he knew this was happening and I know some of his family, and they also would be appalled. "There is not a grain of truth in their interpretation and I would ask people toread it for what it is - a very good story," she said. Dr Shapiro said he could understand why Tolkien's works had been adopted by the far right but he called for loyal fans to confront the extremists’ views. "The books came out in the 1950s coinciding with the start of immigration into Britain and neo-Nazis are interpreting them in that way. "It is very worrying that fascist groups are using The Lord of the Rings like this and are trying to infiltrate popular culture. "This should be openly confronted and if readers of Tolkien feel that this is wrong and the books are not racist, I encourage them to challenge these groups," he said. Dr Shapiro said the trilogy of Middle Earth mythology represented anxieties about immigration. "Tolkien wrote The Lord of the Rings because he believed England's original culture and mythology was destroyed by the Norman invasion, and thought his story-cycle would recreate the world of pre-invasion Britain. "For today's film fans, this older racial anxiety fuses with a current fear and hatred of Islam that supports a crusading war in the Middle East." He added that the books should not be used to incite racial hatred but to look at the modern state of race relations in the UK and further a field. ******************* A Christmas Reflection On The Deeds Of Wenceslaus, King Of Bohemia 12/21/02 3:53:07 AM Bill White Commentary -- There is a scene in the Lord of the Rings where hordes of orcs besiege the fortress of the horse lords, where the woman and children of the city have taken hiding, and as the orcs batter down its gates one can see the looks of fear on the part of the helpless as they await the slaughter they know will follow. In the movie the women and children are saved, but as I saw that I reflected on the times that such things have befallen white people (the good characters in Lord of the Rings are distinctively white people), and how many times that women and children have not been saved, that entire cities have been slaughtered, and yet still the race and the culture managed to survive that devastation, and thrive after the disaster. It causes one to recognize that even in times of destruction and of death, that the eternal quality of spirit which uniquely belongs to the European and Eurasian peoples, and to the larger family of people of Tradition, survives and lives on to flourish in another time. It also reminds me of King Wenceslaus of Bohemia, who ruled in the 13th century. I am reminded of him because I often confuse him with the King Wencelas of the Christmas carol (who was St Wencelas, and who ruled in the 10th century, if I recall), an when I was young that was one of my favorite Christmas carols. I can remember going to school at Ritchie Park Elementary, and during a "holiday" event my third grade class, led by our teacher Ms Koval, and when we were asked to sing "holiday" songs there was only one girl in the class besides myself who knew the words to that one, or to the "Holly and the Ivy." The reason, of course, was that almost every other student was Jewish. I can also remember Ms Koval telling us we shouldn't sing those songs because the other students didn't know the words; I can also remember spending an inordinate amount of time in that class studying Judaism -- Hanukah stories and potato pancakes and singing about dreidels. Other memories from thrid grade include Ms Koval nearly assaulting a student because he colored in a picture of Martin Luther King too sloppy, about her forcing me to sit in a room with a black teacher because I wouldn't celebrate Black History Month (I wanted to know why there wasn't a White History Month), and about her telling us that Ghana was a wonderful place and having us study it for a unit (which I remembered as one of the stupidest things I ever studied long before I knew that a Jew made me study a communist country in Africa because she wanted to destroy my connection to *my* history and hurt me psychologically.) Wenceslaus is known as the man who stopped the Mongols at the mountains of Bohemia, and who thereby protected Western Europe, from the Holy Roman Empire to France, the Nordic nations, England, and the Pope, from the destruction, rape, genocide and population displacement that destroyed Kievan Rus, Poland, Hungary, and the Balkans, and which drove the Turk West, propelling them into their position to destroy the Byzantines and conquer the Balkan peninsula and Eastern Europe up to Vienna in latter centuries. It is true that what he defeated was an advance party -- a large advance force which had been sent ahead to test the defenses of Holy Rome -- and that Germany was spared a more intense assault by the death of the Mongol Emperor, but his battle was the first and only real defeat that Europe inflicted on the Mongol conqueror, and his victory blunted their nose long enough that in the interim the Mongol emperor died. It is that defeat on the invader which kept a puppet dynasty from being imposed on Europe in the same way that puppet dynasties were imposed on China, Persia and India. And it was the quality of soul that allowed a charge against the Mongols and their hordes, knowing that no other had defeated them, that is the essentially Heroic quality that allows the civilizations of Tradition to survive even when the forces of destruction gain the upper hand and rain death upon their people. <pOne should reflect on the great slaughters of white people by alien invaders. The Jews opened the gates of the Gothic kingdoms of Spain to the Muslim invaders of the 8th century, and the white Goths of those nations were put to the sword to the last man, woman and child. The Mongols overran Kievan Rus -- the nation of the Germanic Rus people, who had migrated there from Germany via Sweden -- and they put every last man, woman and child to the sword; Priests were burned alive and nuns were raped on the altars of their Churches. In the same manner, the Turks overran Constantinople in 1492 (I believe -- correct me if I'm wrong), after the Jews opened the gates to them, and slaughtered the entire white remnant of the Eastern Roman Empire. Fortunately, since the Poles rescued Europe outside Vienna in the 16th century, white people have had a pretty good go at the world, but there was a time when white Europe -- the Europe that maintained the culture of the Germanic or Greco-Roman Traditions -- consisted of little more than Britain, France, Germany, Scandinavia, and Italy. Spain and all of Eastern Europe were lost to neither Muslims or Mongols, and nations such as South Africa, Rhodesia, Canada, the United States or Australia were centuries away from being conceived. And yet, with the whole world against them, and with their own leaders weak -- too weak, some say, to have resisted had the enemy pushed their advantage -- white people and their civilizations survived. No conquest, no mass rape, no mass immigration, no mass genocides were able to destroy white Europe, or, ultimately, to uproot its Tradition or its nature. At a time when Jews, again, open the gates to hordes of enemies who wish to slaughter and destroy white people, it is good to reflect that though there have been times when entire cities, and entire nations, of our people have been put to the sword -- often because of our weakness, either as a society or in the selection of our leaders -- that that root organism which we are part of -- that thing that makes us white people, unique and different from all the others peoples of the world -- has survived and will survive. Ignatius Donnely puts the date of the destruction of the Atlantic continent (Atlantis) at 10,000 years before the birth of Christ; that leads one to believe that white people have survived as white people for 12,000 years -- and if we can survive the destruction and the genocide by nature of an entire continent, than we can survive another 12,000 more. The Heroic virtue of the white man, a virtue which is shared by all the people of Tradition, but which takes on a unique form in white civilizations, is that virtue which causes him to stand up and to fight against an enemy which is both overwhelming and hopeless, because he knows that the only means by which he can participate in eternal life is to merge himself with that eternal quality -- that quality of culture and Tradition -- that has existed before him and which will exist after. At Christmas people think of Christ and of eternal life in a different light. They look for eternal life in Christ without conceiving what that means. I once knew a fellow in college who believed that he could smoke marijuana, drink heavily, and sexually hurt women and still be a good Christian as long as he asked Christ for forgiveness afterwards. In dealing with the Christian faith, which I do not share, I tell people that they have to start their understanding of Christ with the idea that Christianity is a radical rejection of Judaism. That it is a "New Convenant" which was designed to destroy the Old Convenant. That the purpose of Christianity is to eradicate and convert the Jewish faith. Christ is the Messiah of the Jews. He was sent to the Jews because they were a wayward people. It was predicted that he would be born of the Jews but he would not succeed in taking his message to them; that only the true Israelites would receive his message, and that the Jews would cast it aside. But the fact that the Jews were incorrigible did not mean that his message was designed to redeem them, and for the redemption of the European or non-Jewish people. The reason for this is that the message Christ brought to the Jews was a message that Europeans already possessed: Christ's message was tailored to temper the specific faults of the Jews; when non-Jews attempt to emulate it they are "tempering" qualities which they don't possess, and thus can turn those qualities into faults. Jews are tribal and racist, so Christ taught them universalism. They are petty and materialistic, so Christ told them to forsake the material world. They are vicious and hateful, so Christ told them to turn the other cheek. They think the goyim are as asses, so Christ told them to love thy neighbor. Christ knew that the Jews could never follow in his words, so he did as Aristotle taught and preached an extreme, with the hope that some Jews would try to follow in them, and reach the medium of virtue that lay between on the way. At Christmas time, in a dying world, we see two views of redemption: one to be taught to the lost people of the world -- the Jews -- and one to be absorbed by those people who have never been lost -- the people of Tradition. One message is a message of redemption for those who embraced a false faith; the other is a message of redemption for those who faith should have never faltered. Jews need universalism and love because particularism and hate are their faults; White people need Heroism and a willingness to die as part of a larger being because universalism to the point of dissolution is our vice. <pIf one is to walk in the way of Christ during the Christmas season, it should be to teach the message of redemption to those who have lost it, while embracing that larger Tradition of which, as the people of Islam would say, Christ was only a prophet. And while embracing that message, one should also reflect on that ancient Tradition which led men like King Wenceslaus to battle against the Mongols while women and children cowered in fear in their homes. When the white world consisted of little more than sliver of Northern and Central Europe, and when alien invaders, who committed acts of genocide and who displaced populations in a way the modern immigration "crisis" never could, there were men who stood up Heroically and who battled for the preservation of a people and a Tradition that had existed millenia before them and which has survived centuries afterwards. Jews have opened doors for invaders before, and there are rarer times when invaders have come on their own, but we have weathered and survived catastrophes that make the "crisises" of today look like minor inconveniences in comparison, and we will survive them and the crises of the future into eternity, because the spirit that drives us, that binds us and unites us is eternal, and no loss and no temporary set back can ever eradicate it from the face of the Earth. I stumbled across it one day while looking for Aryan Regalia, and found that it’s so much more than just rings and flags. When I saw the cartoons I was almost in tears from laughing so hard. I printed some out and hung them in my room, and I also passed them out to a couple of my friends. They enjoy them too. What makes the cartoons funny is that they are all true. Soros said he was ``astounded and dismayed'' and vowed to appeal. The 72-year-old Soros denied having inside information about a pending takeover attempt of French bank Societe Generale when he traded its shares 14 years ago. ``The charges against me are unfounded and without merit,'' Soros said in a statement. He was not in court for the verdict. Defense lawyer Bernard du Granrut said the court ``did not acknowledge the essential elements of the arguments we presented.'' The court judgment said Soros had inside knowledge of the takeover bid because the financiers behind it asked him to participate. Soros declined, but then bought 160,000 bank shares for his Quantum Fund and gained $2.28 million from their sale in 1988, the court said. The fine levied Friday was the minimum allowed under French law and mirrored the amount he made from the Societe Generale transaction. Soros could have faced up to two years in prison and a fine of up to four times the amount earned. The court cleared two other men of insider trading charges: Jean-Charles Naouri, former top aide to France's then-finance minister, and Lebanese businessman Samir Traboulsi. Soros, a naturalized American born in Hungary, amassed a fortune and a reputation as a financial wizard by managing investment funds. Forbes magazine estimates his wealth at $6.9 billion, making him the 37th-richest person in the world. But his dealings also have drawn criticism. When Asian economies tanked in the late 1990s, some politicians blamed Soros' currency speculation for the crisis. Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad called Soros a ``criminal'' and a deputy prime minister of Thailand suggested that gangsters should kill him. In Britain, Soros became known as the man who broke the Bank of England after he bet against the British pound in 1992. He earned an estimated $1 billion when the pound's value collapsed. Societe Generale was privatized in 1987. A year later, its stock price rose during an unsuccessful takeover bid. French regulators first noticed anomalies in the stock surge in 1989. Soros was put under judicial investigation--one step short of being charged--in 1993. In all, 13 people were investigated in one of France's biggest political scandals of the 1980s. A spokesman for Soros, Michael Vachon, said it was the first time the billionaire was convicted of a crime. He also said Soros has no other cases pending against him. Soros is president and chairman of Soros Fund Management LLC, the primary adviser to the Quantum Group of Funds. Quantum evolved from a fund Soros created in 1973 with about $12 million. Today, Quantum manages funds worth about $7 billion, said Vachon, the financier's spokesman. Such funds borrow money to bet on stocks, bonds, currencies and commodities worldwide. Soros also heads a philanthropic network that has funneled huge sums into education, public health, science and non-governmental groups, mostly in the former communist bloc. It got me thinking of a class I took at my local JC a few years back. We had a professor who was Mexican, who wrote a book entitled, "The Hispanic Elite", about the Mexican ranchers/landowners of California before and after the Mexican War. I found it fascinating that, contrary to any Chicano's opinion, the Mexicans living here weren't "Mexican" as they liked to think. The vast majority were pure blooded Spanish. They didn't mix with Mestizos/Indians and were hardworking, prosperous people. As the Stars and Stripes rolled into town for good after Guadeloupe Hidalgo, these so-called "Mexicans" were quite happy. I think any associate in California needs this information so they can lay waste to any argument presented to them by Chicano types who try and appeal to their white guilt. California wasn't "stolen" from poor, oppressed Mestizos, but White Spanish descendants who were more than happy to leave Mexico behind. The Investigation The FBI first became aware of Michael Faust's allegedfirearms training sessions after agents interviewed a member of the National Socialist Movement in Chicago. Informants in Illinois and Minnesota also have provided the FBI with copies of group e-mail messages that Faust is thought to have used to recruit followers into the whit power movement. Michael Kenneth Faust, 35, was arrested after a raid early Monday at the home he shares with his grandmother in Franksville, according to the FBI. Federal agents and police officers from Racine and Caledonia seized nine firearms, including an AK-47-style assault weapon that was hidden under the steps of a staircase leading to Faust's bedroom. They also collected several plastic bags of ammunition. Faust, a member of the National Socialist Movement, was convicted of attempted first-degree homicide for shooting a black 14-year-old in the chest in 1990, court records show. He served eight years in prison. At the time of that crime, Faust lived in Kenosha and used the name Kenneth Michael Botsch. He changed his name upon his release from prison, but that wasn't enough for him to circumvent the federal law that prevents convicted felons from owning guns. Perhaps you may think this good enough to put in one of your Emailings. Gang's of New York is based on A book written By Herbert Asbury (not a Jew) who was born in 1889. Herbert was raised a devout rural Methodist but by the age of 18 had disavowed god and moved to the cities where he began writing stories mostly about religious hypocrisy and urban vices. I enjoyed the movie, although I believe this film is yet another flick in the long string of historical movies allowed to be released for the sole reason of making white societies look as though they have always been hopelessly flawed, valueless and filthy as any Somali slum. I believe the 'gang' angle in the film was played up enormously. I remember learning about the draft riots in history class at military college. I remember we talked about the immigrant factor of New York concerning the riots, but gangs were never mentioned. Besides the book this movie was based on I have never heard of mass 'gang' problems in white cities concerning history, organized crime and gangs of youths definitely but nothing in the scale shown in this movie. Referring to them as gangs I think is very suspect to trying to gloss over the fact that white societies don't have gangs, we have criminal organizations and rogue political groups! Today's concept of a 'gang' is far different than the old English term to denote various hooligans brought under the direction of a criminal enterprise who have far more values and direction than any group of Negro ghetto 'gang bangers'. Of course most Americans do not think deep enough to see through this glaring lie and have been bestowed with enough wrong disinformation to never know the difference. Of course the immigrant message in the movie is another factor I'm sure allowed the film to be produced, how many republicrats will automatically think of Mexican immigrants when they see the scenes concerning the Irish and make all the wrong conclusions? The draft riot scenes at the end of the movie made me think more of a communist revolution than people fighting for their rights, I think that was entirely intentional by the Jew writers of course to further along the current trend in anti white establishment propaganda. There was a few nigger beating scenes during the riot but are deliberately shown to be part of the general chaos instead of having a real reason. The draft riots were because the immigrant population of America's major cities were being pressed into the Civil War by any means, and at that time the current spin on the war was a moral struggle to free slaves and the poor from a tyrannical south, sound familiar? I would certainly say the most inflammatory propaganda scenes in the movie (no doubt written in by the Jew assistant script writers and producers, check the credits!) were the scenes showing the Amsterdam character having a Negro ally (reminds me much of the movie Gladiator), the "nigger in the church" scene, and the scenes involving whites fornicating with non-white whores of every color imaginable. Also in this movie are plenty of scenes showing the disease of Christianity as one of white race's most cherished virtues and unquestionable facets. This avowing of Christianity in white history is another current propaganda message also seen in Braveheart, The Messenger, and Elizabeth. At any rate, I did enjoy the movie and the soundtrack, the brutality and organization in which these 'gangs' combated each other I believe is one of the good points in the flick, if only modern white Americans had as much 'sand' (true grit) as Billy the Butcher or Priest Vallon.
