RUSSIFICATION

Social Nationalism
Political Thought of Alexander Lukashenko

I do not care to antagonize the essence of [this] approval of Lukashenko – because I am a radical in the sense that I value our DNA above all else and with that, recognize the necessity of sovereign European nations to preserve their DNA as distinctive.

Having said that, personally, and to the chagrin of hard core Belarusian nationalists, I can ignore that the Belarusian media is controlled and the elections are rigged such that political opposition is thwarted by force and not so much a matter of popular persuasion as your article indicates. The economy has also been having it's rough times lately – not so easy for the people there, especially as of the past few months. I am willing to grant that can be largely due to deleterious western machinations; and am not highly moved on that account personally, as I do not feel the pinch – because I value DNA above all, I do not care to make a big deal about these political and economic matters. Belarus has been able to maintain itself as more than 85% native; about 11% Russian. GREEN Also because I am most concerned about DNA, I do not feel so acutely the dying and overwhelming of the Belarussian language by Russian language and Russification – however, it is felt by true Belarusian nationalists that with the death of the language comes the death of Belarusian nationalism, whence its submersion into Russification will be finalized. True Belarusian nationalists, who identify as White, and who know what Jews are about, who view themselves as a different people than Russians, have been infiltrated, thwarted and jailed by the modern version of the KGB. For those who really care about Belarusian people the most, the true Belarusian nationalists, the regime in Belarus is weak, culturally, aiding and abetting a crass, material, Russian cosmopolitanism; while smearing Belarusians loyal to their language and distinct heritage as Bulbash – potato eaters – they are not cool, these are only old people, these who speak Belarusian, who are loyal to Belaurusian history and language – only the Russians are cool. This Russification is an insidious matter that is being glossed over.

Further Indications of Russification

Since it is suggested that Russification is on the order of mere CIA canard, here are some more examples of Russification:

The main thoroughfare in Minsk is now called Nezavisimosti. It had previously been named after Francis Skaryna!

On Nezavisimosti is a statue of Felix Dzierzinski – founder of the K.G.B., responsible for mass killings of Belarusian patriots.

There are streets and plazas named after him in Belarus as well – e.g., in Grodno.

LUNCH However, I might have been more clear to separate Lukashenko's official line with regard to Belarusian culture and language from the real life results – nevertheless, the real life results under his regime are a dismissal of Belarusian language's importance among the young and popular culture.

Under Shushkevich (far right), the first President after the fall of communism, Belarusian was to be the official language. Now, how good or bad a President Shushkevich would have been had he more terms, I do not know – he may have been too liberal. But on the language, I can agree with him.

More, not only have I known of Belarusian nationalists and strong advocates of Belarusian language who have been beaten by Lukashenko henchmen, not to mention one's jailed, but there have been men killed (I met a prison guard who was a witness to the circumstances of one dissident's beatings and disappearance).

My primary reason for mentioning these things to you is because I believe that such an unmitigated pro-Lukashenko stance drives the deeper, true Belarusian nationalists, farther into desperate alignment with disingenuous western interests – even if seen as tactical, and provisional – a dangerous alignment.

True Belarusian nationalists, while not wishing to be integrated into the West and the EU, would not wish to be subsumed into a Russian empire either.

Opposing comment:

I had the idea that they all spoke the same language: Russian! Anyway, if that's the only foreign aggression they should consider themselves happy! They conserve their race, which is the most important!

They should come over here or to any other western European urban or suburban area to realise what destruction is. I would choose 100 times changing to a slightly different language but keeping my country's race white than keeping my language, but as it has been happening, watch the white race disappear by the day. The idea that nationality is only defined by place of birth and language, not to mention the so blabbed "identification" concept, everything but race, is purely jewish!

Here is a man that true Belarusian patriots advocate – Pazniak. A nationalist who opposes both western corporatist and Russian over influence, unlike the retro Soviet, Lukashenko. Pazniak gave Russia a scare by stating that citizens of Belarus would be required to speak Belarusian within 10 years. ~ Wolf Europe
